Twobounces

Think we need to start getting realistic about Tyrone chances this year.  We have played four championship games lost two, won one and drew won albeit won in extra time.  Our form this year is not great and even last Sunday against Clare we were very poor.

We are like a team with no structures or no ideas if a team outs 15 behind the ball, we struggle to break teams down and hope McCurry or Canavan do something special, young O'Hare was a positive last week as he came on and brought an injection of pace into the team which was badly lacking before that.

Cork will be a tricky game and even if we win or lose, I don't fancy our chances against one of the better teams. Would just also like to say that Brian Kennedy does not get the credit he deserves as for the past few years I believe he has been Tyrone most consistent player each day they take to the field.

When your corner back scores 2-2 out of a total of 2-3 in the first half maybe the changes need to be made further up the field.

The kind of metrics that render the Clare game pointless, it's not repeatable against a D1 team, and won't happen again

The team needs a chip on its shoulder and there doesn't seem to be one readily available, playing in fits and starts and discipline isn't great at the moment

Brian Kennedy has came on each year since the AI win and can compete in the air with anyone

I would say a few places Up for grabs still In strongest 15. Mcgeary, devlin, ohare and Cullen after 2 places. Will Michael O'Neill and r canavan keep their place with Harte, oguz and burns returning? Harte in at 11 would make sense with either r canavan or O'Neill making way but O'Neill seems a certain starter

Kennedy doesn't seem to get the praise as many other midfielders in the country but in my opinion he's right up there as one of the best. Fully deserved his all star in 2021 although kilpatrick could have felt hard done by as he was just as good.

I like O'neill as he is a bit of a grafter but I would be more inclined to keep giving R canavan more minutes as there's no doubt about it he's gonna be One of our main men for years to come and it took his brother a while to get going for Tyrone a few years back.

He's 6ft 7in, the biggest player in the country, if he can't compete in the air with anybody something be badly wrong.

I've known plenty of tall men that couldn't catch a ball to save their lives 😂.

And plenty that size who haven't the mobility for inter County football.

I had heard he would be doing well to play any part for Omagh this year.

Meyler himself did put a video up this week on Instagram saying that a scan he got in March told him he would be out for the season.

Nope, I used the word I was looking for
