Big result yesterday but not a great performance, a draw yesterday really would have finished us. Great goal by Torres even though he wasnt great from general play, his touch was a bit off for a change but he is still scoring goals.

Wondering how everyone feels about Orange Lodges in the border counties are to receive €100,000 in grants from Eamon O' Cuiv's department (Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs) Lodges to benefit are in Cavan, Monaghan Leitrim and Donegal.

Thieving Incompetent postmen, ordered something from Play.Com over two weeks ago as a Christmas present for someone, still hasnt arrived and you have to wait 21 days to claim a refund. I was reading in the Sunday Times yesterday that they have lost 2 million items over Xmas period. In some areas the downtrodden posties are sticking the "you were not in" card for registered mail items when the people have been sitting in the house just to get their run over quicker........

The trouble in dealing with these Keano-worshippers is that there never will be a stage when they might admit he has made a mistake or two. Bucks will always be passed and excuses will always be found. It truly is an amzing influence he has over so many people.

You're talking a load of balls Wobbler. Keane is not perfect but I think it does take a little intellect to try and understand why he behaved like that. If anybody has a grievance with him surely it was Quinn. Keane called him all sorts of names in the past yet the two of them are now working together. I think that speaks volumes for both men.

I don't know about Quinn, Minder. Maybe you are right. I was impressed by his testimonial donation which he didn't have to do.

He certainly didnt but the positive PR he got from that can get you places......Maybe i should give him the benefit of the doubt.

There are a few columnists in the IN that have an over inflated sense of their own importance, perhaps there is an ego out of control. Absolute horseshit.

Niall Quinn did shun him at the time, but Quinn is so obsessed with his "Saint Niall" image he didnt say too much.

Hi ya Minder!

Or maybe having thought about it he realised Keane was right.

I dunno i would be very cynical about Quinn, he wants everyone to believe he is a Mary Poppins type figure.
