How do you go £25 million over? Thatís a shitload of dough.

I mean, wasnít Casement meant to cost £60 million? 25 m is nearly half that!

Already £10m sunk on Casement and no work has started obviously

Itís bantz innit????

I read a very well written post on RAWK there recently from a United fan about the whole Ďdippersí and Ďray eatersí and how the fan bases of clubs have changed in recent years and how he actually cancelled his season ticket as he was fed up with it. Maybe Keano was right about the whole prawn sandwich brigade?  The reality is that the core fans of both Liverpool and United have more in common than most teams. I would put Newcastle and Leeds fans in the same boat. Both from cities that were for years stripped and broken by Thatcherite policies and have suffered greatly at the base level in the poorer areas. Anything north of the Watford gap really. When you hear or read grown men making reference to signing on and shit like that you really wonder about things. Thereís nothing wrong with strong rivalry, itís axtu very healthy in my view, but the sense of Ďentitlement Ď among some shows a serious lack of self awareness.

Anyway thatís my 2 cents, not looking forward to Sunday!  Jose has a fleet of Matthews buses coming over full of fans to park!!

I think you're looking for depth that isn't there ;D

This one will be interesting. I have a feeling united will sneak this one. There are a few injuries starting to creep up on liverpool in positions they don't necessarily have cover for.

They have cover itís just itís unfortunate you have 3 defenders out at the same time, not sure any team has that sort of cover. Full team out I would I have been fairly confident of winning, now not so sure.

Did matip seem injured last night? I canít remember with everything else going on but was pretty shocked when I saw he had done the collarbone. Iíve broke mine before and definitely wouldnít have been fit to play on.

The last aerial challenge apparently just before the ref blew the whistle for FT

New Orleans are the team to beat in the NFC but it will take a good team to beat da Bears. Unfortunately a couple of poor losses like last week to the Giants will probably mean they're on the road in the playoffs because they'd be awful hard to beat in Soldier Field. Trubisky was making progress before his injury so I'd expect him to impove on last night. Goff isn't a brilliant QB but is the poster boy for what a top class coach can do.

Saints were very poor in the first half yesterday, in particular Brees.  The running game finally seemed to kick the offence into gear in the second half but overall it wasnt an impressive performance. Stuttering a little.

Rams losing was a nice bonus.

Was Gronk on the defense as protection for the hail mary? Man turned like a bus.

Ya. Between that, Brady inexplicably taking a sack to allow time expire at the end of the first half and former player Brandon Bolden's 2 TD's it was a hilarious day for those of us who do not like the Patriots. Belichick will be furious!

Gotta love Belichick press conferences, he makes Jim Gavin look animated.  I was half expecting tumbleweed to roll past at one stage.

Disgraceful treatment of Sterling, watched the clip on tv and those giving the abuse are scumbags who should get lifetime bans.

The treatment of Sterling (amongst others) has long been lamentable. It probably started for him as he was leaving Liverpool he became a poster boy for the new age "sc**bag, money obsessed" footballer and has escalated since. The newspaper campaign against him has been bizarre.

Yesterday is less clear to me, I looked at that clip several times not able to figure out which guy I was looking out for until it was pointed out to me. Without being a lip reading expert I'd not like to see a man's life ruined on that clip alone. There have been over 3m views of that tweet and social media has overwhelming decided he's guilty - off with his head..

Yeah itís not clear cut at all, but trial by twitter only ends one way

See Barry Mcelduff back in the game.

Jobs for the boys. Keep the gravy train running. Choo, Choo!!

Yeah. They are all soooo wealthy. Ching ching.

He had no case to answer according to the prosecution service, yet stood down. Whereas the DUP...

You donít have to have committed a crime to be under pressure to step down as a politician

Few people have managed the financial package he is on.

Has it been released somewhere or what sort of money would he be on?

If it comes anywhere near the finacial package he was on in Beijing then it's winner winner chicken dinner for Jimmy!!

I doubt managing in the second tier of ďsoccerĒ in the US is too lucrative
