Brutal call, no excuse for missing that. That being said , thatís not the first , nor will it be the last PI not called . The magnitude of the game and the timing of it definitely elevated it. In a weird way it will deflect a lot of the blame from Sean Payton. His play calling was poor, and Brees was and has been poor for over a month now. Not an indictment of both, but they were below average yesterday.
Three runs on that last series , the Rams have to burn both timeouts, worst case scenario kicking a 25 yard field goal , and leaving about 60 seconds on the clock for the Rams, with ZERO timeouts.
I thought the Rams were the better team....

Yeah totally agree, Payton tries to get too clever at times and last night was one of them, and as I said earlier Brees hadnít been good for a while. If Gurley plays to his level Rams have a great chance

That's if they let him on the field instead of the fat guy.

Yeah that was strange, canít see that happening again. Even the fact he is lined up will open up the play action for Goff

Is the league game vs Kerry at Corrigan or Cushendall. I was told Corrigan at the weekend but had previously meant to have been at Cushendall

Both games at Corrigan this weekend

Disgusting no call in the Saints game. They let lots go in the game but that was as blatant and game changing as you can get. Compare that to the flag fest last week v the Eagles and you begin to see the inconsistencies.

In all honesty though the Saints really struggled on offence all evening (apart from a couple of decent drives). As expected, if Thomas was bottled up then a large part of the diversity is taken away.

What was the craic with Gurley?

Yeah even though it was a terrible call and would have likely ended the game I thought the Rams were a bit better and just have more weapons and as you say a few more ways to beat you, god willing they can beat the Pats. Brees hasnít played well for quite a few weeks now

Did anyone see the footage of Corbyn speaking in HOC and some female minister discreetly tugging the back of his blazer to get him to sit down ?!

As hard as it is to believe there actually ar a few differences.

Look at casement park and how it can't progress. School funds, civil service funds etc seem to have suffered - more the distribution of them - which has led to a struggle to plan. (The civil service thing I am led to believe by someone I know who works there).

The tories did dish out some stuff though (or someone did) but it actually has some impact.

Ah lads there have been loads of areas that have suffered since no Stormont, public service pay negotiations, Casement, Health Service review & thatís off the top of my head

Had my first 5 Guys the other week (hadn't planned on eating there but it was right next door to the pub we were in in Dublin)...Ä17 for a burger (regular, not double), fries and a Sprite. Was decent but not Ä17 worth of decent !

You could buy a house for that in Mayo

Clyne was decent for Bournemouth against Everton at the weekend. He seems to have a lot of speed about him. Bernard has a lot of tricks but he was always closed down by Clyne. Seemed solid and very fast.

I wouldnít say he is particularly fast, problem has always been he is so limited with the ball at his feet. Klopp had obviously seen enough & thinks he has enough cover

I was reading a few tweets about belfast city council meeting last night and the motion to cut bonfire funding. A carve up between sf and dup is what long called it. Hard not to disagree.

Exactly harold. It is difficult. There are some ones moving up from the south i see with about 6 candidates. I can't recall name. Aside from them no one.

Belfast City Council funding is an exercise in SF & DUP allocating money to their own wee pet groups that are staffed by party activists, family members etc. Has been like that for years.

And today the Irish News reports that £500k of ďbonfire diversionĒ Council funds has been awarded to Feile, before the application process has even started, and a director of Feile is the brother of a SF councillor.

meant to get to the game on sat but was working and never got to it. I see that all 6 forwards got on the score sheet and by all accounts it was a good run out for the panel.

Was a competitive enough game, Antrim obviously missing a few and that will only improve once players start coming back. Hopefully Cushendall players are not available till after St Paddy's day and that will give other players a better run in the team.

Was expecting more on the panel from some clubs but some players are still with their college teams I suspect and others may be carrying injuries

What size was the panel for this game?

Antrim had, I think about 21 there, not sure TBH,  few lads came on during the game

Young rice came on at half time for Ronan Molloy, big lad with pace to  but I canít remember who else
Darren Gleason the tipp goalie was on the line helping. Got talking to him heís a sound big lad.
Lots to work on for sure, well done to all the lads who weighed in. The Ref was a bit iffy looking 😊😊

Aye just donít be giving Darren your money to look after for you
