Lazer, im almost sure the season tickets are available for the terrace!

And agreeing with some of the rest of the posters, id very extremely annoyed if down were to make it to the final and i were left without  a ticket. Il be competing with the prawn sandwich brigade that would never have dreamed of going to places like silgo, carlow, tullamore, portlaiose when the team were on as bad an ebb as ive ever seen! Its sad that people who have been to the majority of games will be bumped off by people who are going to their first match this year getting tickets handy, and sadly this happens every year!

These draws make a mockery of the All Ireland ticket allocation system and questions have to be asked whether they should be allowed.

::) ::) ::) ::)

How is this draw making a mockery of anything?

It brings into question the current system of allocation of AI tickets - 27,000 tickets are distributed to non-competing counties - draws like this are held up and down the country - why are competing counties left short while others are able to sell their tickets.

Scandalous. Take orders from the competing counties and let the remaining tickets go to whoever wants them. Is it true every living past president gets 100 tickets?

Well i few friends of mine get tickets for the all ireland as a past president is a member of there club, and hes basically giving them away every year, so i would imagine that past presidents would get a fair amount, maybe not as many as 100 though

a amusing article and to be fair not much truth in it!, but i do agree with its views on the monopoly the dubs have over hill 16. For instance, if dublin do manage to beat the langers on sunday, will hill 16 be equally allocated between the opposing counties or reserved unequivocally for the dubs? ive i feeling either down or kildare will be banashed to the stand and not having the choice whether to purchase cheaper tickets!

Im pretty confident that we will do the business next week. However the larries will be on a high beating Mayo, although it must be said that it was one of the worst Mayo teams in a long time! I think it could be tight enough but will be very disappointed if Down exit the all-ireland series at this stage!

it says on bbc sport that the game is at athletic grounds, cork. Where the fcuk is that? I assume they mean Pairc Ui Chaoimh!

Interesting team from mc cartan, i honestly thought he would have went unchanged, but then again the exclusion of mc comisky and clarke were not altogether surprising. The bench looks strong for the first time in years.

Looking forward to a cracker!

was at the down v armagh league final and there was 2 armagh lady fans that had at 5 children with then sitting in front of me at the game and the language coming out of them was colourful to say the least. They then proceeded to light a fag and blow the smoke right into me, if they were fellas I would have lost it! I myself have a few slips nof the tongue but its the persistence of constant swearing in front of seemingly their own children that got my annoyed. I agree that more needs to be done by the authorities but its just one of those aspects of the match day experience that well never go away!

Anybody hear what the weather prediction is for Sunday???

17 degrees with sunny intervals, pretty much perfect!

Ive heard Gordon has faired well in training at full back so why not give it a shot? The only thing that concerns me is that if it fails! Who else is there to full the gap if Mc Ardle and Rafferty dont pull through?
