ALL IRELAND SENIOR FOOTBALL FINAL TICKETS

Down to the last four of the championship, and we going to have new winners for the first time in at least 15 years. Therefore, tickets for this year's final are going to be harder got than obtaining a loan from your local Bank....

However, do not fear, as Kingscourt Stars GAA are running their juvenile club's annual fundraising draw and it takes place on Friday 10th September and for the first time ever, tickets are available online via their website - www.kingscourtstars.ie . This is the only fundraising event the club has in this regard and is of vital importance to the running of the many underage teams that the club fields in both boys & girls from U-6 upwards.

First prize is Two Tickets to the All-Ireland Senior Football Final along with overnight accommodation in the Skylon Hotel and €200 spending money. There are further cash prizes all the way down to 8th place.

All told, a prize well worth winning so why not try your luck and simultaneously help support all the good work that the many volunteers at underage level put in, not to mention the dedication of the young players as well.

So whether you want to be in with a chance to support your county in whatever unique final pairing comes through, or maybe you would just like to sample the experience on an All-Ireland Final as a neutral, just click on www.kingscourtstars.ie and try your luck....

Down v Dublin would not be a unique pairing. They met in 94 final

Thanks for the history lesson Snoop!

Ok, by dictionary definition you're right, it would not be a unique final.  However a change from the Kerry/Tyrone dominated appearances is what was meant. Apologies for the grammatical inaccuracy, it must be a quiet night of by the Mournes tonight......

Any chance of you buying a ticket???  ???

Redhand Santa

These draws make a mockery of the All Ireland ticket allocation system and questions have to be asked whether they should be allowed.

How is this draw making a mockery of anything?
Kingscourt Stars as a club have decided to raffle off their allocation of AI tickets tickets to raise funds for their juvenile club. What exactly is the problem?

It brings into question the current system of allocation of AI tickets - 27,000 tickets are distributed to non-competing counties - draws like this are held up and down the country - why are competing counties left short while others are able to sell their tickets.

Every county deserves its allocation and every club deserves its allocation. Its up to an individual club to use their tickets as best they see fit. Its just not possible for every single fan from competing counties to get a ticket. Thats the way it has always been and it won't change now just because the Dubs have a chance. Dublin is an obvious case where there are just too many clubs and fans competing for tickets but c'est la vie.

Best of luck Kingscourt Stars, I'l be in contact.

Scandalous. Take orders from the competing counties and let the remaining tickets go to whoever wants them. Is it true every living past president gets 100 tickets?

It's nothing to do with the fact that Dublin have a chance of making the final - it's everything to do with an unfair distribution system.

Ticket distribution for competing counties should be based on club affiliations - not the amount of people who claim to have  been at every game that year since O'Byrne/Mckenna cup etc.

Well i few friends of mine get tickets for the all ireland as a past president is a member of there club, and hes basically giving them away every year, so i would imagine that past presidents would get a fair amount, maybe not as many as 100 though
