There is a large house in Meath to be demolished because it didn't have planning permission. The wife of the couple who owned the house is seemingly not too worried. She said this decision took 20 years in which time the kids are all grown up and moved on.

Surely the state can get their decision made in a timely fashion if indeed there is a decision like this that needs to be made.

Could there not have been something else done with this house? Some waste, eejits for building it in the first place, don't know the specifics of this case but planning regulations in the country are a joke in general.
