Terrific effort from Tyrone and a massive test for Kerry. They were able to win without ever really getting out of 3rd gear and were able to just keep their noses in front the whole way down the stretch.

Bull and an insult to Tyrone. This was a game of inches and Kerry fell over the line.

Best game of the year to date? Or possibly the last few years? Only really missing a good schemozzle.

Aishling Reilly said 3 or 4 times Malachy O Rourke was in his first year as Tyrone manager. . Poor enough for someone covering Gaa.

Look-Up!

Great effort by Tyrone. Just short on a bit of luck. Could be the team to tackle Kerry in the next few years.

Hard luck to tyrone and well done to kerry. They were always a bit better but tyrone could have sneaked it. Thought kerry got a 45 which wasn't a 45 but that same incident should have been a penalty for kerry for a dangerous foot block. You can't tackle a player, in the act of kicking, with your foot. As it turned out the point from the 45 gave kerry enough of a cushion. Tyrone will be kicking themselves they didn't bring on mccurry much earlier if not from the start. He was arguably man of the match for his 25 minutes.

Lot not happy he wasnt starting.

Hard luck to Tyrone, Kerry just about got over the line. Only a matter ot time before Tyrone get the ducks in a row, but Kerry might have 3 or 4 Sams in a row by that stage.

Massive Pride there, that was some game.

Ultimately a tale of two teams separated by kick out success and vital wides. Some of the misses were head scratching, but the lack of kick out success for Tyrone Vs virtually uncontested Kerry wins from their own ball was massive. I wouldn't say Kerry didn't get out of 3rd gear, they were pinned to their collar from the get go.

Shame that the referee is even mentioned, but 2 if not 3 shocking calls cost Tyrone points and importantly momentum.

Mattie Donnelly is a monster. Has anyone, including PTG, put themselves through more for Tyrone? Rightfully up there with Red Hand legends. Be nice to see him one more season in the good going but that could be a selfish perspective.

Sure Paddy Andrews won 7 all irelands for Kerry in the broadcast.

Orior

Hard luck Tyrone. Some good players coming through.

Leinster final or Louth-Dublin for me.

Believe what you want. I praised them plenty. This Kerry team have more gears in them.

Brilliant effort from Tyrone all the way, the last play I thought there  was more than enough time to play for a 2 pointer from the free. Last week cheering on Dublin, this week cheering on Tyrone to get over the line,  as the song goes -- crazy world.

They have a lot of underage talent in the pipeline. They will have learnt a lot from today and Tyrone know how to win all Irelands.

Talking thru your hole. Tyrone stiffed by the officials.

The moving up a mark free 50 metres is actually scandalous. A referee unaware of basic rules at this level.
