Provincial finalists in 1 pot and will get home venue.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

The 2 pointer has been the biggest change that has made the game exciting again.  Work's the same for both teams so dont understand the crying about it.

What an unbelievable game yesterday...

Littered with controversy throughout...

Derry lads and management will be sick today.....

Some brilliant Monaghan fans around me yesterday....some not so great..

Lovely wee old man and his wife directly behind me.....nice discussions with them at HT, FT and after the game...likeable...like minded Gaels...

However....hugely disappointed to hear the Londonderry reference from quite a few others around me throughout....boils my blood..

I couldn't believe what I was hearing..the same men considering themselves as a 32 county country and crying for a United Ireland no doubt...

Absolutely rotten....that needs to stop..

Good luck to Monaghan going forward...

According to Cahair O'Kane 27,500 tickets sold for Armagh-Down today, making it the biggest attended Ulster semi-final since the same two counties met in 2008
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

At least there will be some equality of support, the number of Tyrone and Fermanangh people attending the Armagh games was shocking, especially for a big county like Tyrone who did actually play pretty well.

I think there were some people who spent so much time in traffic in 2008 that they settled in Ballybay. But we all survived.

Tyrone can get Down Maybe?/Armagh, Monaghan, Dublin, Kerry, Cork, Roscommon, Galway, not sure of the other with the cup and all. Tyrone will play away to whoever they draw on I assume the 23/24 May weekend. Someone can explain better but that's roughly how I see it

Draw a Munster,Connacht Finalists game will be played on 23/24 May. Draw finalist from Ulster & Leinster game will be played 30/31

Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on May 02, 2026, 09:46:38 PMWith every passing year it shows how brilliant a manager RG was and how he had that Derry team flying.

Theyd have beat Monaghan by 15 plus today if he was in charge.

He had them flying to an extent. They weren't flying against Galway in the all Ireland semi.  Persisting with lynch coming out of goals and him as slow as a tortoise at getting back.

Rogers, McKinless were in their prime then. It could be their last year

Fair point but they comprehensively beat a better Monaghan team than that by a big score. Game today was following a similar path dont think they'd have let Monaghan back into it under his tenure.

On a side note I though Derrys keeper today looked very good until that bad kickout to Beggan.

Also have some the Derry players bulked up an awful lot compared to last year.
you're talking about 2023? In the ulster sf Derry won comfortably but it has to be said every long range shot taken was a point, I think Derry only had one wide in that game late on in the 2nd half. However in the group game, Monaghan deservedly drew with Derry at Celtic pk. Both teams were much better then.

Tyrones seemed to have deserted their County teams in massive numbers.

A lot of supporters in the county seem to prefer club football these days.

Best club championship in Ireland they say.

thebigfullforward

Love when that happens. Backwards, sideways, jog forward, turn back again. Down turn it over and get a score out of it straight away nearly

Blowitupref

Down need to win this game now to avoid the Tailteann cup after Westmeath reached the Leinster final.

Down look tired. Bit of a gap between both teams really.
