That's 3 years now recently Tyrone have just beat us at this level and gone on to better things. It's a bit sickening tbh

I'm enjoying it lol

Armagh18

Fair play to Tyrone. Didn't look like much against us in the group game but here we are and they've won another Ulster. Makes our performance against Monaghan that bit more sickening

Only consolation I'm taking is that there's a good few lads from that U20 squad plus John Joe Hughes who wasn't making squads for some reason who should push on towards the senior teams within the next few years.

Armagh carried a panel of near 45 throughout the U20 year, there must have been 15 silky/jinky corner forward types among them (& another 5/10 who left the panel), hard breaking through that, but a management call ultimately. I'd a lad involved and followed them round the country, the big numbers also reflect the gap between U17 and U20, some lads not ready.

A sickener for young McGeary last night having switched to Armagh, if he comes from Armagh stock I'm sure he's happy enough but even still. Would have been in Tyrone's panel I'm sure, or maybe that's why the switch took place?

Leinster final not to Wednesday 6th May that could mean Tyrone v Leinster delayed to Wednesday 13th you'd imagine

Harsh on him but I'm sure Tyrone would be happy enough to get another lad in the team over someone who wasn't committed to it. Classy player but as another poster said only a certain amount of forwards you can play at the same time

Who are the favourites for minor championship anyone know? We've started well against Monaghan by the looks of it

cavanmaniac

Cavan minors well beaten by Derry 1-16 to 1-9.

Tyrone and Derry into semi finals having reversed the league final and shield results against Monaghan and Cavan. Anything I have read suggests no strong favourite. Based on today's results Tyrone could be looked upon as favourites.

J70

Donegal-Down minors abandoned halfway through the second half with Donegal 17 points up.

Pitch was like a swimming pool.

Harldy much poimt Doen going back next weekend  unless the weather was drasticslly against them with a gale blowing in Donegals favour.

I see the Leinster U20 final is on this Wed.
Any idea when the semi v Tyrone will be?

Ended 1-15 to 1-13 to Donegal today in the replay.

Hear Eoin Duffy got a call up to Armagh Senior Panel. Lad still at St Colmans, fair play to him, he was superb for U20s (until Monaghan did a job on him in semi final). Could be another couple to follow, altho one of the most likely (Ryan Nugent) is out for 6 weeks under concussion protocols from that Monaghan match.

Yes much better performance by Down. Played a kong time with 14 men from what i hear. So possibly feel thry left it behind them. Considering the scoreline when game was abandonded last week Down did really really well.
