Great defensive displays. Some positives , it was always gonna be a difficult game.

L McGarrity and Canavan somehow missed sitters. Tbf Derry had some brutal wides and on balance probably deserved it.

I still see no sign of an attacking plan whatsoever. Pot shots the order of the day. No left footed free taker on the whole game? We will get ate up by the top teams if something drastic doesnt happen.

V poor couldn't move the ball quick enough. Canavan and Mcelholm although not fully fit where well shackled as the ball was so slow and poor.

Some solid performances from the younger lads but nothing to shout about either. Kennedy not close to fitness but needs must. Tyrone coughed up so many breaking balls too

4 points in 35 minutes ain't gonna win you too many games. Mckernan put us 2 points up and never kicked on after that.

You'd be giving them the benefit of the doubt after 2 games but still you'd be hoping for a better return than 1 point from 4. A week off and we'll maybe get a few more back.

Lorcan wouldn't be a county footballer and to throw him in against Derry in a crunch game and take mckernan off too. Makes u wonder. He be type of player u would invite on to the team when carrickmore officially open there Hyrox building for an exhibition game.

Maybe this is just a pre season tournament and malachy and porter happy enough to stay in Div 2.

Aaron Boone

A quite lifeless performance. It's kinda strange why things aren't gelling.

Paul Devlins teams play with passion and attacking flair. Just saying.

Is Petey Harte definitely retired?

Bizarre positional selection
Result as expected No plan No fitness No conditioning
Complete schambles but brave effort by players in the face of incompetent naive mismanagement.. This mismanagement is a disgrace a total farce. Maybe he is still really managing Monaghan?

Jerome

Naming teams late and then dropping lads named on the team is really disrespectful. No wonder the boys aren't playing for the team.

They aren't??
I'm beginning to hope Paul Devlin gets the job next because you are f£*kin tedious

Open door situation as far as I understand. Probably needs a break.

Is playing Ronan Cassidy wing back a wise move? Quality forward

tyroneman

A shambles.

Forget about Div 1

McElholm and Canavan well held by Derry
2 x two pointers from McKernan and ONeill plus the goal kept us in it against the run of play
Very little creativity or options From our forward line
Absolutely destroyed on break ball
