Have to be favourites after the weekend now big ball small ball they can do it all apparently

Assume you're a Cargin man? They won't be beat in Antrim, game will follow a similar pattern to the final a couple of years ago, Cargin will prevail with a bit to spare.

Their focus should really be on progressing somewhat in Ulster but its hard to see them getting past the first round again in that competition.

And (IF) they do win Antrim but then failed to get past the Derry champions away in Celtic Park in the first round Ulster would that be deemed a failure of a season?

Not for me. I'd consider them or Dunloy beating the Derry champions to be a massive shock so if they lose you can't be saying its a failure.

Of course not, winning the championship is still a brilliant season for anyone regardless of how many times a team has won it. But its probably getting to that stage where you'd want to see progression within the ulster series. Just because its an Antrim club, there shouldn't be any inferior complex playing away to the Derry champions. This is club football, not county football,  there should be very little between the best club teams in each county.  Derrygonnelly can reach ulster finals. St Galls have been there,  I just want to see an Antrim team make a real go again in ulster and would love to see Cargin do that.

To be honest, its more like I told you four or five years ago that PG1 had a good coaching set up and that in the future their senior teams will be consistently challenging amongst the top teams and that opinion is still firmly on course. Work in progress. I also said the next generation coming through will be better coached and prepared than our current set up, which whilst a good bunch, still seem to find a way to underperform when it matters.

That includes last year's county final which went to extra time, whilst plenty to like about the display, reverted to stupid wastefulness that was ultimately their downfall in a game that was there for the taking.

Though this year never remotely hit those heights at any stage for some reason. It happens!

Coin toss of a game if ever there was one, two very decent sides. I assume that means Moneyglass are promoted already because Sarsfields are already up? (if the leagues dont change)

The current Portglenone juvenile stack are very well coached with efficient and high energy play, if they can mature to senior they are a collective very good prospect.

Sure they'll probably choose to keep a team up instead knowing how the county goes.

I'd back MG for this one though. Having seen both teams play I'd say MG are the better team/footballers whilst Sars are a bit of brute force
