You know what i hate. Some total b**tard dies and at his/her funeral the priest, who probably knows full well what a hoor the person was, spends 20 minutes talking dung about what a great person has passed on. Thatcher was a **** whose ignorant actions meant a lot of people dies while she had tea with mass murderers from South America and elsewhere. If there is a hell it was built for people like her.

The priest at her funeral will probably be Fr Brian D'Arcy. He loves the old limelight

You know what myles, I agree.  I never agreed with her.  I will tell you a story, no word of a lie in it.  A distant relative of mine was in Downing St with Cardinal O'Fiaich when O'Fiaich was trying to interject on behalf of the hunger-strikers.  At one point he put his pen down (he was the note-taker) and told her in no uncertain terms that what she was doing would lead to the nationalist community being won over by the men of violence. She didn't care what her actions were doing to people on the ground even when he calmly explained that his own family was split down the middle because of her attitude

I do my own thinking, thanks.  You support killers, you have no room to preach to anyone

First of all I support freedom fighters not "killers". Typical old sensationalist word games when you have nothing better to say.

Could I ask, if you want to play word games, is it fair to say that you support "killers" due to being an apologist for the activities and policies of maggie thatcher?

I still await your explanation as to how something which happened in 1984 influenced her attitude in 1981, by the way. Come to think of it, I await a non-sensationalist, word-game free constructive response to every point I made in my initial post, e.g. on Civil Servants etc.

I await with interest.

Where did he ever say that? He was clearly speaking about her politics and attitude to the north as a whole.

As usual, I have to refer to you to what I actually said and not what you think I said.

Oh and you support murderers in my view and that will never change.  By the way, I don't have to answer everything you say.  You are not a toddler, don't act like one.

You are rather tiresome, you never contribute yet you see fit to nitpick, out of context.  That makes you a WUM

Look I started it and perhaps it is in bad taste. So maybe I should delete the post.

However, on second thoughts: she was a an bad-natured, evil, indifferent, Irish-hating, poor-despising, egotistic, petty, spiteful, blood-thirsty, insane apologist for hatred and moneterist policies that plunged millions into poverty. Also, she was a tyrant who suffered from delusions of grandeur and meglomania; had no idea about the real world and was out of touch with absolutely everyone. She got 'lucky' at the Falklands and lived on that for almost a decade. Beyond all that she was probably okay and even her family might have liked her.

Now, I am not into irony. But, imagine if through lack of nourishment her organs closed down one by one and she slipped into a coma and HER family had to watch her wither away ....  :'(

I don't think for one minute you have to answer every point I made, but my post was in reply to the specific points you made, so I just thought that you might act with the same mature manner and not have some childish refusal to engage in constructive discussion but rather use sensationalist word games to avoid my points. You are not a toddler after all are you? Is rational discussion beyond you?

Are you ardmhaca's spokesman? That's nice. What's the pay like? Recession busting scheme you have there.

Such is the extent of Sinn Feins sellout McGuiness and Adams will probably be pall bearers at her funeral. Sure isn't McGuiness great mates with the Tories.

I don't like the Thatcher death celebratory mentions either but I understand why some feel that way. Celebrating a death just doesn't sit well with me.

I'd probably would like to have seen Hitler reprieved too if caught.

If the Second Coming does occur in my lifetime I'll probably tell the Big Man to ease off on the devil and give him another chance.
