Well I've been using itunes for a few years but I've never agreed to paying 79p-99p for a song. I think it is brutal the price for 1 song, I have used various sites giving free downloads and have also used cd's but these day Itunes has taken the digital music market to the next level every site expects you to pay for a song now.

But If i was buying a song i would purchase it of Itunes, least you know it safe and reliable and if any problems occur you can always email apple.

In contrast to the some of the outlaw sentiments expressed elsewhere, I think it adds some small bit of integrity that we have at least one member who still actually pays for downloadable music.

Anyone any tips for places to pick up cheaper iPods or the like for relatively? Preferably the newest Classic ones.

Hey, I'm pretty sure it can't be done but is there anyway I can transfer songs from the iTunes library on my laptop to the iTunes library on my da's pc via a memory stick? For using on 2 separate iPods?

Main Street

It can be done quite simply.
Just copy the music manually to the usb stick  from your iTunes folder in
C:\Documents and Settings\%your_username_here%\My Documents\My Music
then open up iTunes on your Dad's pc  and drop them into the Music Library as normal.

How can I transfer my podcasts from my itunes account on the laptop to my phone? I thought that the automatic sync when I plug in the phone would do that but it doesn't.

It'd be more in your line to be picking up thon tin cans lying in the street.

Look at your settings. The 'synch podcasts' may not be checked with a 'tick'

Just noticed nothing is ticked at all. It must be herself. Always unticking things.

Why would you sync applications?

Probably a question that's been covered 100s of times on here.

If I want to transfer my music from my PC to the IPOD nano, what do I have to do?

A--- Do I set up an I Tunes account, upload them to there, then upload to the ipod?

B--- Is there an easier way?

If they are already on your computer it shouldn't take you long at all. Download iTunes then click 'File' and 'add folders to itunes library'.

Once you've done that then highlight the folders where your music is and iTunes wil then display them.

Once that's done you can transfer away on the iPod nano.

My PC fucked up yesterday and I've lost 2,000 tunes. Plug in the iPod, asks me to transfer the lost tunes, I say yes, but then it freezes. Any ideas?

Yes, they're sensitive to questions!"

If the tunes are still on your computer they are stored in a folder
User - my Music - iTunes.

If not, then you can start to panic.
