There's more going on here...The Celtic Board are looking rid of BR, BR will not play any of the Board's signing even if they're better than other players at his disposal. The fans want the Board out and BR is trying to stay with the fans here. This all having and effect on the players and then the punch and judy show on SKY today with NL and that p***k Boyd, fair play to Sutton for putting it up to them.
Where does it all end...I've no idea but what I do know is we'll get pumped next week with a few goals to spare if things don't change ASAP

Celtic, from top to bottom are in a mess and it'll take some fixing.

The Board are a joke. Haven't invested properly in quality players over successive transfer windows. I mean, ask yourself when the last deemed successful transfer window was? I think after BM game last year, Celtic, as most supporters would acknowledge, should have pushed on and created another period of dominance in Scotland and pushed on in Europe. £100m in the bank isn't much  good now when supporters aren't buying match tickets and merchandise etc. Typical Lawell and Nicholson arrogance and attitude.

BR is a spoofer - clear to be seen now. Even after the game's press conference is a joke. Does he ever listen to what he says? Ask yourself, what was the last big game that he's won? People will give him a by ball because of recruitment, which is fair enough to a point.

But yesterday, playing Murray over Trusty was a bad call. Not only that but he took off the only player (winger), who was actually doing very well and was dangerous in an attacking sense. WTF? Clueless?

Celtic have a young player on loan from Man City, Simpson-Pusey, who has played in the Champions League but hasn't figured for Celtic yet. What is that about? Clearly to me, BR cannot judge players or cannot alter from 1 formation to another.

I think now that the majority of Celtic supporters are starting to see BR for what he is. Even with the current squad, Celtic should be beating Hearts and Dundee etc. No disrespect or entitlement etc. but they should be winning the majority of these games. BR can't get the team 'ready for war' and get them fired up. No aggression, just stale backwards and sideways passing. Put you to sleep.

Recruitment at the club is a farce - no need to add anything to that statement.

Academy - another farce. When did they bring a goodyoung player through? The size of Celtic, they should have loads of talented young players coming through. Some do but are let go or are 'sold', for one reason or another, to other clubs. Another mess.

The stadium - it's falling down. No investment.

I've said enough about the board - complete disconnect with the supporters.

Now the only consistent thing in all of this mess is the supporters. They know what's happening. They invest their cash into the club in an annual basis but this is changing and changing quickly.

I think the very fact there's no clear recruitment plan is a big issue. It's largely accepted that Rodgers was behind the Idah and Engels signings, Trusty too? Idah has gone already and Engels/Trusty look like misses too so he wasn't trusted this season to have influence on signings and he's making a point now by not playing a load of them. Over the last year Celtic lost Kyogo and Kuhn, a striker and right winger, signed Balikwisha and Tonetki who are both left wingers. Recruitment is shocking. I was never on for Rodgers coming back tbh but think he's less responsible for this shit show than the board. Thing is we can't fix the recruitment for another 2 months anyway and I don't think the board would have the balls to sack him and even if they did, I'd not trust them to get the replacement right. Probably promote Kennedy or Maloney ffs.

for better or worse we will have rodgers until the endof the season. Only positive is if we dont win the league thatll do rodgers chances of getting a top job in england no good so he will have ot turn things round

I can see both sides but playing devils advocate...

If/when BR leaves, who replaces him? We'll not get another manager at that level.

Say what you want about recruitment but some of the big/established players are consistently underperforming (Calmac, Tierney, Hatate). No use having decent recruitment if the leaders on the pitch are playing dung. Players have to take responsibility.

We've also had bad luck with injuries (Jota long term, more recently AJ, Maeda, Iheanacho). There aren't ready replacements in the squad for these players.

BR baffles at times with his team selections. My one criticism is he has frozen out decent players that could do no worse than what takes to the field most Saturdays. Bernardo, Nawrocki on loan. Forrest, as much as he's a legend is past it and should have retired last year.

Totally shocked to see that. No way he's been the main problem part of this current shit show. His constant sniping at the Board did obviously not go unnoticed.

My initial reaction  is that I think the club are an even bigger shower of wankers after this tbh. Feels like a 'resignation' under duress. Bit f**king Judasy of MON too.
