Well, didn't she go and get me one - a nice surprise. After 8 years of marriage she now wants me out of the house.

Anyway as the time was short, they said they'd send her out a gift letter thingy for the stocking to confirm the purchase. Well, didn't they go and send her an Armagh one. How on earth could that mix-up have been made? I'd understand Tipperary or something alphabetically close, but feckin Armagh? Someone was up to no good there.

Brought herself great mirth though before it was sorted.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Maybe they only had division 1 gift letters and they sent the closest county.

QuoteGAA cuts league admission prices
The GAA has dropped admission prices for the 2011 hurling and football leagues
18 January 2011

The GAA has reduced the admission prices for the forthcoming Allianz National Football and Hurling Leagues.

Tickets for Division 1 and 2 of the NFL and the top tier of the hurling league drop from €15 to €13, a cut of more than 13 per cent on 2010 prices.

Admission to all games in the bottom two divisions of the football league will cost €10, with just €5 admission for the lower divisions of the hurling equivalent.
What about season tickets now? No longer quite as attractive.

I'd imagine they'll throw the second Championship game in as well now.

Bad value for Div 4 teams alright.

Especially (and this isn't a wind-up) when those teams don't have a hope of reaching the AI final and as such, the guarantee of tickets is pretty meaningless as a 'perk'.

I didn't buy a season ticket yet though with those prices should i?
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

If you are going to at least 7 of the NFL games and hopfully a div 4 Final , and going to NY it would be a saving.

Of course if you expect us to get to Croker in September...... ;)

I wonder what €uro to Sterling exchange rate the GAA will use?

If the McKenna cup is anything to go by, a very unfair one
Admission €10/£9 or students OAP €5/£5

Its like last year, where they told us they weren't increasing prices.
Prices in 2009 €15/£10
Prices in 2010 €15/£12 (or maybe £13)

So although the prices didn't rise for the people in the south, they did for us!
Down for Sam 2017 (Have already written of 2016!)

This was a perfectly fair reflection of the exchange rate changes in that time.

The €10/£9 McKenna cup thing is probably just having a convenient Euro amount, €10/£8 would be more reasonable.

If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

The exchange rate is irrelevant, why should us nordies not have a price freeze too!
The GAA is an all ireland organisation not a southern one.
