A club made up of players from a small stretch of road between Dungannon and Coalisland who had to train in Galbally and Coalisland in order to be able to have access to floodlights shouldn't have to face a plastic team made up of 4 clubs to win the O'neill cup. But at the same time it makes it 10 times sweeter that they did.

Just on the crowd yesterday, I do think it's becoming a joke. Throwing flares on the pitch and shouting during the national anthem. Thought this was meant to be looked at after the semi final

Great to see Edendork do it, everyone loves an underdog. And great for the 3 lads / Tyrone stalwarts.

Especially delighted to see the Dazzler McCurry win an O'Neill cup. An absolute gent he is.

Met him and his better half in Belfast a few years ago in the Cathedral Quarter, an absolute gent. Talked away to us and a completely normal and humble guy. Kudos.

Fair play to Edendork.  Those lads are about to have a few days of celebrations that they will never forget.  They deserved it.  Petey Harte done his best to drag Errigal over the line but Morgan has the last day.  Errigal look v average without Darragh Canavan

NotedObserver

Thought Errigal good in defence and thought Ben McDonnell excellent on conn. Aodhan Quinn and especially McDermott will learn plenty from it. Surprised to see McDermott hitting the long range free from the hands. Oguz v rusty

Edendork battled well in both games and as the games went on they looked the more likely winners to me. Maybe due to their 2 point threat and their experience of the slow play with their county men.

Just because your opinion does not align with mine it doesnt mean you are right and I am a 'slabber' & a 'w**ker*.

My opinion that errigal are nothing without peter canavan and his two sons (particularly darragh) is an opinion steeped in fact. Read my post from last week.

I think this is known by errigal folk and is deeply embedded in their psyche. Look at the ai final collapse

Enda would have won sweet f**k all as a manager without darragh. Just because he talks a good game on rte doesnt make him the genius many make out. He is a fraud. In my Opinion.

Admittedly I have taken liberties with my slagging of dungannon. Sorry for having a bit of craic.

On a separate note @knock yer mucker in, just because the rahillys are happy to pay a fortune for mediocrity with daddy mccabes money it doesnt mean madden is a good manager. Seriously unambitious for such a historic club.

It is a strange opinion though. That's like saying McGuckin wouldn't have won the Championship with McCurry, or the Fossa manager wouldn't have won them Kerry Championships without the Clifford's. Obviously they wouldn't have, same as McGinley. If you're missing elite players then the chances drastically reduce.

McGuckin should read this and try to win the championship again next year without McCurry just to prove to you he's not a "fraud" as well.

Well done to all the winners, the most unpredictable club set up in Ireland!

Quarterbackk

Id love to have seen Darragh play last night.  We want our best players playing in county finals but is there something in the amount of injuries all teams have experienced this year.

The amount of football our young players play from the age of 16 I feel is scandalous.  The obsession of underage county success in Tyrone, is this success really playing out on the other end.  Even Ruairi. The fact still remains that outside the golden generation of 03,05,08 we have won one senior All Ireland Title.

Can you explain how this has attributed to the canavans injuries? Genuinely asking

For Dungannon Swifts out in Moygashel

Disgraceful comments in here on Enda McGinley. A man key to Tyrone's first AI success and has done plenty in the management world! Some people need to take a good look at themselves! Just saying mucker!

Not a strange opinion. If you cared to read back, the original fraud comment was in relation to errigal not being able to beat edendork, despite the quality and pick they possess in comparison.

Winning without canavan was just an added reason he is in fact a fraud

Brilliant to see. Played up to U21 for Dork/Naomh Mhuire back in day when the pitch faced completely different direction and that bit of road wasn't as built up as it is now. Tbf, club has always drawn players from the town too, and it also trained under the lights at our hurling club. Three of the lads last night won championship medals with the Ruadh a fortnight ago. Some year for them.
