What is the story with Bruno this year outside the Ipswich game been well off where he was last year?

Carrick would look like a dead man walking if lose to Bournemouth at weekend, Bournemouth big game on Thursday night against Milan.

Capt Pat

A dreadful performance from United. I told you they should have never got rid of OGS and brought him back.

Same problem as Carrick. Too nice. Players walking around the pitch would have had the shite kicked out of them in the next training session by Fergie or Keane and not done it again. Bruno is a super player but not a captain. Disgraceful

Just watched the highlights.

United looked  to be all  over the place again.  Some magic moments from Como  though.

It's beginning to look like Christmas for Carrick I'd say
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

One things for sure, Jason Wilcox hasn't got a clue

Anyone with an ounce of sense knows Fabregas is a coming man at the coaching game

Utd hadn't the smarts to figure it in the summer

Wot could of been

Brian Kerr said on comms that it always seems like players get worse after going to United.

I'd argue clubs are selling them to ship them on for different reasons or United are just willing to pay over the odds.

Mount, De Ligt, Mazouri, Baleba is another one waiting to happen.

Then too many lads pushing on who won't budge.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

I think, since Ferguson, if you get a contract with Man Utd, as manager, it goes down hill badly. The pre-contract games or trial period for a manager seems to go ok...and then they get a contract.

Disgraceful from him imo. Looks like Man United players have downed tools once more and thrown another manager under the bus. An absolute rotten club to the core.

A manager with balls and he'd be gone.

That's the 3rd diabolical performance with less then a quarter of the season gone, his time is up.

Carrick deserved his chance but this season was always going to be tougher with CL football, it was all smooth last season with few injuries and a week too prepare for games. Unfortunately with more games and more injuries we've now seen Carrick's limitations as manager, 3 diabolical performances on top of so many poor performances.

We all thought he'd be backed more in the summer and the squad isn't good but ultimately neither is Carrick.

Carrick win rate after 28 games: 50%
Fergie win rate after 28 games: 39%

Fergie lost 2-0 against Oxford Utd, knocked out of the FA Cup at home to Coventry, bet by Luton Town, Sheff Wed and Newcastle back to back to back

He's 29th game, a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham

Honest to dog, Carrick needs time!

Yeah, but Fergie had a track record, beating Real Madrid in a European final and being the last non-Old Firm manager to win the Scottish league more than 40 years ago.

Carrick's record is probably better than Klopp's first 30 in charge of Liverpool, but Klopp had an inferior squad to what United currently have, was visibly improving the team and instilling a clear pattern of play, and had an impressive track record behind him.

What's Carrick's track record? A one-game-per-week/no cups run where he could rely on a small number of well-rested and prepared players and play on the break, along with his spell at Middlebro.
