Will they go hard for the McKenna Cup in 2027?

Is there a leaderboard for most prolific "foreign" managers at club/county?

Granted, it's not inter-county. Credit to Hogan Stand for this article re: Dominic Corrigan.

"Dominic Corrigan underlined his reputation as one of the best club managers in the business by leading Clonguish to a surprise Longford SFC success on Sunday.

The former Fermanagh and Sligo boss guided the Newtownforbes club to their first Connolly Cup since 2009 with a sensational 1-20 to 1-6 victory over holders Emmet Óg Killoe at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. Michael Flynn fired 1-9 for the new champions in what was Corrigan's first season in charge.

It means that he has now won county titles with six different clubs – Carrickmore (Tyrone), Clontibret (Monaghan), Killyclogher (Tyrone), Ballinamore (Leitrim), Castleblayney Faughs (Monaghan) and Clonguish. The Kinawley clubman also won five MacRory Cups and the Hogan Cup in 2019 with St Michael's College, Enniskillen before retiring from teaching in 2022.

Corrigan is ably assisted by former club and county star David Barden and ex-Westmeath forward Peter Tormey, who will have a good insight into Clonguish's next opponents – The Downs – in the first round of the Leinster club SFC."

That's some list of honours in fairness to Corrigan. Good range of counties also. Being retired, I presume, he has a bit of time on his hands. He's using it wisely.

From The Irish Examiner

UEFA Pro Licence holder Lisa Fallon is set to join Eamonn Fitzmaurice's Galway as their new coach.

Her fellow backroom team members are understood to include former senior players Gary O'Donnell,Gareth Bradshaw.  Kevin Johnston  current U20 manager (former now has stood down) and David Morris who is kept on from Joyce management.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

QuoteI sat beside Lisa Fallon at a match when i worked in Newstalk.

She was doing reports for TodayFM at the time

I remember her because i found her clueless about football yet incredibly confident in her opinion

Why is Parkinson a p***k but in this example Meyler isn't?

Meyler was a great player lets get that out of the way.

He is a 32 Year old student.

Without Tyrone GAA (and his own hard work which cannot be diminished) he wouldnt be in many of the positions or conversations he is currently in.

A coach with Wexford for F*** knows how much a night.. on what basis is he remotely qualified for this position.

I'm sure there are a list of people within the Wexford GAA community who bring much more than a Tyrone man who hasn't coached.

Never mind the details of his equality for equalitys' sake view on the associations joining. He is a very well educated dose who knows what to say to keep himself relevant in terms of clicks etc. online particularly in the spheres where people are talking about the discourse around this so called merger.

I wish him & Wexford the very best with the upcoming season but when he talked about "white middle class" privilege which exists within the association add on the "ex county" moniker and he himself is availing of this privilege exactly. In all probability there are much better candidates who stand to gain far less but give themselves more passionately to the role.

How in anyway does Meyler taking the opportunities presented to him make him a p***k?

I have no idea as to the validity of any of your arguments.

The point is Parkinson doesn't appear to either and instead attacks Meyler with a jibe about pronouns that is evidently little more than "look at the nerd with his booky wook".
