They showed enough in the first leg that they could create chances so if they started hitting the net, which they did, he should have shut up shop. I think it was the third goal that Celtic were caught on the counter with two of their midfielders running beyond our midfield who were high up the park. Shouldn't be happening and took too long to try to shut it down.

Now.

McGregor and Nygren are 33 and 25 respectively.

Both are probably collecting far side of £20k a week.
If neither have the gumption to realise given the way the match was going, its strictly one sit, one go, then they need a bit of a bollocking.

If it were Donovan and another like him in centre midfield, I could get it. But not two supposedly experienced pros.

Nygren was subbed off fairly early from memory. We were comfortable enough in that match until he played LASK CF through for their first goal. After that we collapsed spectacularly

A quote from MON's press conference yesterday. Says it all really. A board puppet.

Sligo get 10%
Seeing as JK is moving from one country to another, all the clubs he was registered with (not clubs he was loaned to) should benefit financially to varying degrees depending on time spent with them. Sligo will get the 10% plus a fixed % fee for the 5 or 6 years developing the player

What?

Kenny moved as a pro for a fee, Sligo got a sell on in the deal.

This isn't a kid moving where compensation is guaranteed

No away fans at the derby this season

I seen that and the first thing i thought was...Ok these games cost me close to £300 a pop to go too and he's basically saying they're not bothered about Europa League and that the domestic league it the most important. Right, Ok. So do I book the games and waste the money on a pile of dung turing out or players not giving 100%...WTF.
He said we'll see where they're at come January to see if they're gonna take it serious or not, this is a shit show TBH and it leaves you not know to splash your cash or stay at home. I'm on the home cup scheme so Celtic are going to take £35 out of my account before every home game regardless.

illdecide, I admire and respect your devotion.  It is genuinely admirable (and expensive!).  However, as long as the guys at the top can rely on the 70,000 people like you and the supposed waiting list to replace you then nothing changes.  If you decided to jack it in as a protest (not for one minute saying you should) I have no doubt someone would replace you and your money in a heartbeat.  It's a disgrace that they are doing this to people who follow Celtic as a way of life.  The Board are content to finish first in a one horse race forever, that's as far as their ambition stretches.  Desmond and his lackeys need to go.  MON not covering himself in glory either and I love the guy.
