The things that are all coming out of the woodwork now is that MON is doing no coaching and is just the front face for the Team. Apparently Shaun Maloney and his gang are doing all the coaching atm with MON only there 3-4 days a week. No matter who is coaching and who is not what is important is the team are totally shot of confidence and are playing as bad as I've seen.
Players are on egg shells, afraid to pass it and afriad to take a player on. I can't see them beating Rangers on Sunday TBH and if we lose that it may be just too much for the fans to accept. MON is a legend of the club and I certainly don't want it to end badly for him but Celtic can't keep going on like this.

Yeah I know how that looks but it doesn't tell the true story. Celtic have had an easy run in the league so far and haven't played the top teams yet but they're all coming in the following weeks. The lower teams Celtic have played thus far have all had so many chances to put Celtic to the sword but didn't have the quality to execute their chances. The reality is Celtic have played 3 decent teams this year and have been pumped by all 3...Thats the worry not the 6 bottom teams they've played in the league so far

In general there's too much fume involved with plenty of teams. Plenty of it is due to ownership but the team suffers and then is it any wonder confidence falters. Anyway, I'm rambling now

O'Neill has never done coaching. John Robertson always did that until Villa.

not aimed at you but a lot of our fans would want to cop themselves on. I am seeing terms like crisis being bandied about. We lost a cup game at Ibrox with no away fans and we lost in Europe. Performances were very poor. We have won 6 out of 6 in the league, albeit against the weaker teams. Let us see where we are in a few weeks before we start talking about a crisis. I wonder how these fans would have reacted in the 90s

Put aside all of the other issues at the club, the fact that the manager and his coaches are watching the midfield getting overrun in game after game this season and not doing anything to address it is very worrying.  I'm not sure we have the personnel to fix things but we aren't even trying to.  The quality of the coaching goes back to one of the many issues coming from the very top but there is no point going over that again.  The team that finished that game last night included Ralston, McCowan, Scales and Tounekti.  Does not inspire confidence.

But you can't look at that game last night in isolation. That's the problem.


Celtic have been dominating Scotland but have f'%ked up in Europe year after year - especially in the qualifying rounds. Well beaten by so-called lesser teams. Look at the record. Go back this past 10 years and look at the teams that have beaten them in the qualifiers.


In my opinion, Celtic fans wants progress in Europe but this is not happening. If fans want to beat Kilmarnock 5-0 and beat Dundee 4-1 etc. and be happy with that, then fair enough. For a lot of fans, that's not good enough.


They want to see progress in Europe and it's clear Desmond and the board don't understand this. The club results will be out in a few weeks - probably £80m in the bank. They've had to pay £25m of captial gains tax this past few years as they had too much in the bank. Imagine that! No ambition.


Celtic actually came out with a big profit from the summer transfer window. Yet, everyone knew they needed a few defensive mid-fielders and a few defenders. Comedy defending...if you could even call it defending this season against so-called better teams. No man lined up for Mc Gregor - his legs have gone. Playing too many games. Tierney only lasts 60mins and no cover at left back. A few loans brought in on transfer night. Not good enough.


MON's role is basically a shield for the board. He's put out to answer questions on the board and their shambles of transfer windows. As I say, these tranfer windows are not in isolation - this have been going on this past five years.


I'm not sure what's going on in terms of coaching but how he picked Tounekti for the Rangers game, I'll never know. Every Celtic supporter will say he's not up to it. There's issues in the management for sure.


Three big games this season and hammered out the gate in all three of them but don't worry we'll beat Motherwell 3-0 away from home.


In saying that, I'd expect a win on Sunday.

FWIW I expect a tanking on Sunday. That team is missing something. With the players they have they should be doing better
