The senior championship 2026 is nearing, any predictions on who will take her this year?

-My own prediction: Carrickmore or Trillick

Attended Edendork and Carmen lastnight

- Was stood directly behind MOR

- From what i could grasp he seemed fairly keen on the Edendork corner back Eoin Mcglinchey looks to be promising for the Red hands

- Mccurry not at the races Young allison had him fairly rattled however Niall morgan seemed a massive miss for edendork

- Looks like killyclogher have the league Wrapped credit to them

Out of interest, what would the split between Newtown and Dregish players be?

14 of the starting 15 for most of the year have all been Newtown, Conor Langan from Urney being the other (how Urney let that transfer go through I'll never understand).
McGovern the sole Dregish representative on the senior squad from what I can see.

Would Newtown be a mainly unionist town?

How many clubs in Tyrone is there from a unionist majority area? From the top of my head I can only think of kilyman. The likes of clogher, aghaloo, castlederg, newtownstewart and cookstown would be mixed areas but looking at the recent census unionists would be slightly in the minority.

Is Castlederg the name of the club?


I'd say west of the Bann there'd be a very aging unionist population.


I think Tyrone leagues should start a good bit earlier, then finish their league and a 2 week break before championships starts.


Would solve a few issues.

Clubs play without their county seniors and U20's then?

Good luck trying to discuss an actual point in this clusterf*ck of a board now. It died a death long ago unfortunately.

Do all other counties in Ireland not play the league without these players?


And not much point in complaining when, for example, The Moy, concede a game at the end of the league....when they have a full panel. Not sure they have any Tyrone players but point still stands.
