Quote from: From the Bunker on July 11, 2026, 09:53:22 PMLads Kerry are really over-hyped this year.

They will be beaten by Dublin or Mayo.

They are not over hyped, they are underperforming to their potential.

Tyrone game will have helped spin up their flywheel. The big question mark is Seanie O Sheas fitness and readiness to hit his highest level. It was telling Jack had White on from start of that game. Both key leaders.
Who drops out for Sean O'Shea? Paul Geaney? Need the 4 piano pushers to set up the 4 piano players.

Quote from: Armagh18 on July 11, 2026, 09:27:58 PMI'm just not seeing it with Mayo. No bad side but I don't think they're on Kerrys level. Some serious quality up front and Conroy off the bench is electric but Clifford will get about 2-12 against their defence, midfield doesn't stack up to Kerry either. (Assuming they win tomorrow which is far from a certainty)

Will suit Mayo to be underdogs and I'd obviously love them to prove me wrong and win the whole thing. If Dublin win tomorrow though all bets are off and the final could be a classic.

I just don't see how anyone can underestimate Mayo's defence. Donnacha McHugh has become the man marking central player you can build a defence around - except with Coyne, Callinan, Hession, McBrien, Mayo already had that defence in place and were waiting for him, rather than the other way around.

This is an unbelievably well balanced Mayo team, especially when Kobe / RoD switch around at 11 after Conroy comes on.

And should Mayo find themselves in a winning position in this final go on and win the bloody thing and leave the silly excuses from the past behind.
It is interesting that Mayo declared themselves in transition, dampened expectations and look like they might actually do it? A masterclass in psychology or just a really poor quality of championship?

All the cliches are true.

Its there for everyone

On the day anyone can beat anyone

Just another game

The trick is relaxing guys and Morans very calm.

Great honest speak from Moran, ppl will read into but we all know Mayo will be huge underdogs.

Plenty of managers in their 1st year and in transition have led their county to All-Ireland title only to fall way badly the following year, Tyrone in 2021 the most recent example.

Not sure about really poor quality however far from vintage quality stuff.  The so called best and defending champions Kerry have shipped heavy losses to Donegal and only fell over the line with dubious calls against Tyrone.

The opportunity is there for Mayo to take it,  11 previous finals and too many excuses the ghosts of the past needs to be banished for good.

Quote from: Main Street on July 11, 2026, 07:47:34 PMI had felt sore that Monaghan couldn't beat Louth, now I think they might well have saved us from receiving an absolute tanking from that Mayo team.

Monaghan couldn't play Mayo in the semis, would have been one of the 2 teams tomorrow
When speaking hypothetically, one can be flexible with creating actualities.

Quote from: JollyGreenGiant on July 12, 2026, 12:05:56 PMReally in bonus territory for Dublin today. Never expected a semi final. Would be great to see a solid performance that causes Kerry problems. But I still think Kerry will make light work here.

If your mindset is bonus territory then a trimming is likely as what happened to Louth yesterday and Meath last year.

I doubt Ger Brennan and his team that are filled with inter county or club All-Ireland winners has that mindset.

Kerry Captain Paul Geaney is out replaced by Killian Spillane in the 26

One change for each team to the published teams
For Dublin  Seán MacMahon out, Alex Gavin in
For Kerry,  Paul Geaney out,  Seán O'Shea in
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Ya see I bet Andy would have addressed all that BS.

Hes been ruthless with the "legends" aka the nearly men.

 And rightly so.

Dubs playing with wind...they need to start flying and get a sizeable lead

Milltown Row2

Have went for the draw at 8/1, Kerry could blow them away but who knows after yesterday's games.. one was to be too tight to call the other was over at halftime
