MOR yapping about the Ref a couple of times to date, safer holding his tongue on that one. Not the Ref's fault his umpire made a howler. Tyrone did just fine outa the ref imo.

Mistake was moving it up then not moving it up when conn nearly got his head taken off.

Why are players subjected to hours of analysis before and after games but refs are never examined or called out. Disgraceful that incompetence isnt called out. Players and managers have to give post match interviews why cant the ref be interviewed.

What did they do fine on? Ref incorrectly bringing up a kerry free for a 2 pointer, ref not bringing up a free for tyrone for a 2 pointer. Linesman incorrectly calling conn catch on side line as being out.

Paudie pulling down Teague and being allowed to play on.

Really struggling to see where tyrone done well out of the ref, umpire or linesman.

befair

Surprised at Tyrone not trying for a 2-pointer at the end; left them dependent on getting possession from the kick-out

DaleCooper

8 tyrone starters scored, 5 forwards[daly hit wide].

Tyrone 14 turnovers to  Kerrys 5. They killed us on kickout retention.

As I said earlier in week you somehow need to steal a lead on Kerry, esp a tired kerry. We almost had it, flubbed the 2pt free & 45. Needed to force goal efforts 1st half. Those go over its 10-5.

Mcelholm maybe best off bench option for Jordan. Morgan surely should be hitting frees?

Enormous guts and just lacking a bit of polish. No Darragh robbed us off thay McCurry type threat we needed, dont think he has legs for 70.

Did not manage last ten well at all, kerry experience did tell..mckernans effort was ridiculous

They did try to engineer one before they got their last point but it wasn't well enough planned. Teague surged forward and then got caught in two minds and ran into the tackle. He managed to get it inside into Seanie O'Donnell, I think, who had a handy one and he turned around and played it back out.

Would like to have seen BBC cover that game today as they have Maurice Deegan doing live interpretation but he is rarely too critical. Its innovative idea. We need a more symbiotic reffing team but jfc the umpire stuff is unforgivable.

The Kerry Mayo game in Limerick a few years ago, there was analysis of all the incorrect decisions ref made. All in Kerrys favour of course. When you see Dingle getting same treatment it's no coincidence.

No one wants to complain to avoid being called sore losers. So nothing happens and its rolls on to next year.

Winning of game was there and our lack of composure to win crucial ball was where Kerry won.

Id say they breathed some sigh of relief. Ferocious Tyrone performance, just sour taste at end.

Think we earned extra time at very least. Hope for next year!

GTP

Did Morgan not miss his only dead ball? A losing manager will always be called out on decisions that could have changed a result without evidence that doing something different would have been better. Morgan on frees earlier. McCurry in earlier or starting and D Clifford's marker will be the what ifs for Tyrone.
Kerry just deserved to win but their defence looked far too open to suggest they are unbeatable.
And the rules are far too complicated.

In hiding

I thought Tyrone were excellent today. We got so much right but came up just short.

Armagh18

Hard luck to Tyrone, put in the performance I was hopeful Armagh could last week. A bit more clinical and they'd have had Kerry beat. Conn Kilpatrick is a super player.

Thought ref was shite for both teams, some difference in the first game. Soft p***k

100% on all those.
Kerry the better team but got the rib of the green with decisions today.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

From the Bunker

Good effort by Tyrone. Malachy looked totally disappointed at the end. Kerry got a few dodge calls. Them's the breaks. Geaney was super for Kerry - the difference. McCorry excellent.

Mayo get one of the easiest routes to an AI semi-final. And could have Louth in their way to a final yet. Madness!
No way Mayo are a top 4 or maybe a top 8 team. But we'll take the experience if nothing else. It will all help with the learning curve.
