Clifford would dominate Joey in the air. So thats too dangerous to leave him exposed

Seen enough of Clifford v Teague in Pomeroy one Sunday. Teague is better on the front foot, rather than defending 1v1

Id consider starting Aidan Clarke & giving him the job. Michael McKernan would also come under serious consideration. Likely two or three players will be given the onerous task at different stages of the 70 minutes

Caolan McColgan done really well on Clifford in the league final. Thats probably the type of player needed, and the style of performance you would want. Im not sure who is closest to that type of player within our squad.

I'd try a smaller man on Clifford, if any of them had Ricey McMenamin traits that might do a reasonable job, a reasonable job being 0-7? Anything less should be considered outstanding

Niall Devlin did OK on Kobe last week but then he also done fairly well on Paudie last year so he'll likely be needed for him.

Key for me is making sure the ball goes dead when we are attacking. Any turn over or shot dropping short and 3 kicks later Kerry have it over the bar.

I would go with speed over strength when marking Clifford. Everyone trys to muscle him off the ball which won't work plus you will give him handy frees.

Speedy defender who attacks the ball rather than the man will start to frustrate Clifford if they can win a few early balls. Clifford is prone to rash challenges. When he tried to rile up his defender vital we don't react

It will come down to how many of younger lads handle occasion. Cassidy looked excellent, Jordan was poor last day. McElholm was super last year but petered out in 2nd half.

Lets hope there are no howlers and they give it a good rattle.

Runs parallel to cross field lines 13 20m double loops out then in from corners and his strange stretch out leg shooting styles add (McGuigan had dummy solo) Clifford has extra tight bounce. I hope all 10 from half down have studied all the videos and run the computer games. O'Connor a narky tank get him on a run and tip him into a flag or post by 'accident'. Also cut the feed wing backs in particular carrying into zone. The 50m free space Kerry wing back got in the approach up their left in the build up to their goal in semi last must NOT be allowed under any circumstance and wing forwards must track Kerry carriers and be super fit and Seanie O'D would that job.
This is doable with belief and Ricey Gormley spirit (2points down 2008 and "now we have them".) They can be out psyched if we stay tall, loud and cool.

Cormac Quinn needs utilised in a marking role - done excellent on Conaty.

Joey is too small for both Clifford and P Geaney so realistically only man he can take is Dylan Geaney in the FFL

If Seanie o Shea starts then who do they drop? Sure not Paudie Clifford

If Seanie O'Shea plays then Kerry have a half forward line of +6' men who are physically in great shape and could cause problems especially in the air

I expect a tight game for 55/60 minutes then the Kerry bench having an impact and winning by 4/5 points.

Anything worse will leave mental damage

I thought the attitude was fairly good v mayo but the forward quality was v poor against an open mayo side. Jordan and Donnelly offered no danger along with Mcelholm who played so far from goal. Daly and Seanie tried but need to raise their game to new levels at the weekend.

Feeling Oguz and Ben McDonnell may have seen plenty of game time if they were fit.
