Quote from: Canavanistheman03 on June 18, 2026, 07:12:27 AMThere's no denying some Tyrone supporters were frustrated — every county has that when things aren't clicking. But that actually proves the point: people were too quick to write them off, including plenty who are now acting like the Armagh game was obvious.

As for the AI favourites, they're called favourites for a reason — it's a prediction, not a result. Football isn't played by rankings or opinions online. Tyrone have already shown they can go into difficult places and beat highly-rated teams, so pretending they have no chance is just poor analysis.

And the Malachy O'Rourke point? That happens in every county. A few bad performances and suddenly everyone wants a new manager; a few big results and the same people change their tune.

The reality is Tyrone are still standing when plenty of other teams aren't.
If people want to keep underestimating them, that's fine — they've been doing it for years and Tyrone have a habit of making them look foolish.
You do realise 75% of the teams that started in the competition are still alive?

Quote from: Main Street on June 17, 2026, 12:43:08 PMDo I sense some Armagh lads are struggling with fate and possibly a sense of injustice?  Would it have something to do with a recent cruel loss, a cnt of a draw and their homely neighbors?
Don't think there's any sense of injustice, Louth deservedly beat them and they have got a tough draw in the next round.  By not doing their job they ran the risk of Kerry in Killarney and being out 3 weeks in a row.

I expected to beat Louth but felt that the Kerry game would come sooner rather than later and expected it to be in Croker at quarter final stage.
I was more referring to the old horse Orior,
"Monaghan v Westmeath. Lucky Monaghan bollixes by 3"
.

Well yes, but to be fair, I'd rather win the Ulster Championship than leave the AI Championship with nothing.

Why ?

Sure the provincial is irrelevant now

Back to Saturday , murnin hopefully fit and Blaine is essential for kick outs .
For me if murnin fit I would bench turbitt.
Looking forward to it now , if o shea and Ryan not playing then we can beat them .

Yeah Turbo and Oisin off the bench could be key and the kick up the hole Turbo needs, Murnin if fit has to start obviously. O'Sullivan is a huge loss as well as those two. O'Shea near beat us on his own last year with the space we allowed him, criminal. If Ryan is out we can really get after their kickouts. Break ball as usual will be massive, will need Ross/McCabe/McCormack to have huge games in that department. Conaty is due a big game.

Just Tom O'Sullivan out from what would be considered 1st choice.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

How fit does a goalkeeper need to be lol. O'Shea if half right could come on and stroke a couple of 2 pointers. Massive task ahead but full faith.

He had a quad injury
So say 30 kick outs might be an issue
Hopefully o Shea isn't near fit

Oisin ONeill should be starting that Armagh team surely? Grugan wasnt put in til 67th min last day either.

Theres a sliver of hope that rests on fact Jacko has not done back to back and the true state of Kerrys fitness.

Armagh are creating lots of goal chances so maybe they hit form on that front.

Gonna go with

Kerry, Mayo, Donegal, Monaghan
