Forker needs to have a hard look at himself

Didnt get to watch the match. What did he do?
Armagh 2 points up game was done
Holding the ball just over a minute left
Ball was recycled back to him
He had 2 loose players to keep recycling and push clock down
He shot  from a poor position under pressure was blocked and didn't have pace to get after his man
Armagh didn't get ball back

Armagh did get the ball back.

Aidan Forker has kicked points from positions like that so many times before when it mattered most.

It didnt work out for him today.

He will know that himself without keyboard warriors getting on his back.

As McGeeney said 'we win together and we lose together'.

Any word on what kept Hughes out? I see another sub keeper named...Imo he's a much more reliable option compared to Rafferty. Don't think Armagh will win Sam without Blaine.

All round it was a poor enough performance from Armagh. There were probably 3 or 4 points left behind in the first half and they took too much out of the ball trying to score goals that weren't on.

In the second half Forker wasn't the only one turned over. Before that Turbitt carried the ball into traffic inside the D and got turned over. After the Forker t/o Armagh actually got the back and McGrane gave the ball away with a poor pass to McCabe and that ultimately led to the goal.

Aside from Rafferty's mistake, a number of our better players weren't at their normal level and no bounce of the bench and that was it. Well done to Louth.

Good post. As bad as we're all feeling the players are obviously feeling worse. Haven't felt this gutted since probably Monaghan 2023.

A real sickener but we've come back from worse, fully expect a big response next weekend.

On paper bar Galway the teams through are all big enough surprises and very beatable for whoever gets through.

Yeah, ye have to get there first in order to beat them

Mulroy kicked at 70.00 on the TV clock and a couple of seconds before Rafferty touched it, which is clearly off the line. Game was over in theory.

If there had been a hooter at the game, Armagh win, simple as that.

Was at the game and it was wide all day from my view.

Defensive touches do not count in the same way offensive touches do, otherwise a penalty at the hooter that skims the keepers hand wouldn't count either.

After today, they won't. They're being wiped out  at midfield.

where was Callum  O'Neill the midfielder? Was he not fit  to come on?  They were struggling  badly from kick outs

At what point is the game over then? If he catches the ball it's game over? Although I do see the point about a tipped penalty which is hard to argue with. Is there any language about the defending team having to secure possession?

Tv clock was wrong I believe. There was 8/9 seconds left on stadium clock when he kicked it
