Those two would be great additions. Conor Stewart back now too from his travels. Question is where do you draw the line...or do you just keep it open.

Re Casements/Galls, I have been told we did everything possible to get an accomodation from as far back as March. I am not on committee...so getting that second hand, but from a good source.

But ultimately its all about the championship...no one getting too excited about the league round here.

I thought they played well yesterday. Clinical in terms of goalscoring. Probably the thing that impressed me most though was transition, especially defensively. When Tipp turned them over they had 12 men back straightaway while Tipp maybe had 5 or 6 still in their own half. Same going forward which tells me the fitness levels are very high.

Would love to see Seean and Keelan joining the panel to give this Tailteann Cup a real go.
what would that say about Antrim if the 2 dunloy men + Conor Stewart joined up now,id say a few men would walk given the commitment they have to the cause, for these 3 or anyone else to come on board at this stage after a couple off decent results

Did Gerard Walsh not do it a few years ago? Precedent there and has happened in bigger more successful counties too.

Good management would be to canvass the existing panel and see if there was a consensus. You mightnt want to parachute them in out if the blue. And would there be a month or six weeks in Matt Fitz?

Does he even play for St Johns any more though?

I would say they're best leaving as is tbh.

Do we have a home draw for the quarter finals?

See i'd regard that as weak management. If you're the manager make the call.

If any player leaves because they dont think they're good enough to see the lads off for their place then let them go. If im a player and a few new lads come in, im pushing harder to make sure its not my jersey they take which should help the team too.

Anyway, probably wont happen and a fair chance the lads might fancy the break ahead of what will be a busy dual club schedule but for me, id 100% ask the question.

Yeah home to either Leitrim, Wexford, Wicklow, Longford, Down, London or Sligo.

Can't play Tipp again.

Yes we are at home in 3 weeks time. Mixed feelings re the prelim quarter, another home winnable game v New York might have built even more confidence and momentum. But that's Fermanagh's lot now

I would have been a little worried about the short turnaround. I think one week between that NY and a QF. That and being at home in QF should be a decent advantage.

Thanks. I would say wicklow, Wexford, down and Sligo will make it through. (Though I would have been wrong in quite a few at the weekend). Sligo and Wicklow I would prefer out of that. Wexford seem to have dropped off a bit mind you but really couldn't see down beat.

I would hope confidence etc is on the up after decent wins last two rounds. Another outing in croke park would be great.

In fairness to Wexford they gave Down a great game in the Division 3 final but then who knows how good Down really are...probably the most inconsistent team in the country.

Sure why don't we pick Joe Quinn up and give Paul Close a ring also.

Anybody a number for Kevin McGourty?

Sure him aswell.

Only 2 questions matter, are they an improvement (on day 1) than what is already there? Are they around for the long haul?

If the answer is no to either question then no dice.

There's an element of the current squad having come through a baptism of fire with new mgr this season, they ain't shootin for Sam yet but any management who breaks up that unity is taking a risk.
