Anybody a number for Kevin McGourty?

I was thinking CJ??

Sure him aswell.

Only 2 questions matter, are they an improvement (on day 1) than what is already there? Are they around for the long haul?

If the answer is no to either question then no dice.

There's an element of the current squad having come through a baptism of fire with new mgr this season, they ain't shootin for Sam yet but any management who breaks up that unity is taking a risk.

Worked alright for Westmeath

SaffronSports

Any of the lads in question hurl tonight for their clubs?

Just seen one got a goal so probably puts that notion to bed.

Keelan came on as a sub last night in the second half. Eoin McFerran played the whole game. Coby didnt play at all. Seaan is out injured at the moment.

Was at it. Dunloy turned it on in the second half...will be the team to beat, again.

Yea Shean out injured so wont be playing any ball for a while.

They haven't won the last three?

But no doubt they'll be contending as usual

Good luck to the young minors and their management tomorrow in their AI Final against Wicklow

Yeah, I'm sure they are buzzing.. well done to all involved, there will no doubt be some that think its lower level, but this has been a good journey for them
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

bannside

Well done to all involved, yes its the grade we are in, but like Divs 3 or 4, or the Tailteean Cup, its great to see matches bring won and signs of genuine progress being made. Enjoy the day and hopefully be tier 3 minor champs tomorrow.

Saffsof82

Best of luck to Donal and his mgt team and players. They have had a great run. As I said months ago we can compete with 70% of Ireland but in Ulster it's elite and we suffer. This run will build confidence which is lacking in our players ,our hurlers are applauding being in tier 3/2 Leinster , if our football can bring home an all ireland i will be delighted. Match is streaming our the caravan is heading down if anyone needs a lift

bannside

That was some comeback from eleven points down by our minors to beat Wicklow by a point. Well done to management and team, enjoy the day and the celebrations.

Christmas Lights

Well done to the minors,  great to see them come back and get the win, this guys will remember that for a long time.

Looking through the team,  a real lack of representation from the city teams,  any particular reason why?

Hectic

Noticed that also.  One from LD and one from St Pauls.  That aside the rest of the squad were all South West teams.

If a South West team can win that Tier more or less on their own then getting the city boys committed would surely see us push on even further.
