Really shows Tyrone's problem. The old 2 big men issue. To illustrate Brian McGuigan, great as he was in his time, would not have a chance in a 2 point shoot out today in my view Look at the strength and power Armagh bring to that line today. A bunch of skinny runners won't cut it.

I would swop Clarke with Devlin and is Ruari C not fit?. If available l would play him at 12 (other side from the brother)? No word there? Prefer him to Seanie we need more scoring threat than runners there l believe. McCurry great career but l believe only 2nd half 20 min effectively in him at this level now Never strong/big enough ( Brian McGuigan exceptionnal in that regards but not for Dazzler?) or creative enough for CHF wonderful reliable scoring threat and passer inside but shied away from shots he would have scored from, in other days, in last two outings l felt.

McGarrity is a man id like to see get one of these jerseys. has he done it so far not really no but in my opinion has it in spade fulls and needs a run of game time to get into the swing of inter county. (mightn't be this weekend but needs added to squad longer term)

on the point of Brian Mcguigan no probably wouldn't run a 2 point shootout but in terms of delivering ball into 3 inside men who are small and want to win ball out in front there'd be no better man.

Another Problem with our forward play is how we use our 2 big men, regularly we see Brian and Conn taking turns inside but our lads don't seem to know how to hit them or that they've even gone in there for the most part.

For the record I would have Seanie O'Donnell playing from wing back and my preferred half forward line would be something like Cassidy McElholm Oguz.

Oguz has never done it in a Tyrone shirt. Super footballer with size and athleticism. Id probably give him another chance in there - just because of the sheer lack of options. Half forward line is such a crucial line on the field now. You need to have kick out options, and you must have a 2 point scoring threat.
Rory Gallagher mentioned last night on his Insta page how he would only play Darragh Canavan at 11. I have to say i agree with him. We dont get enough out of DC in the corner. He possesses that 2 point scoring threat, and can penetrate the defensive screen around the arc with his movement and passing ability

Would love to see McHugh in put a bit of devil into it? Sad RC not available (?). Rangy Rossies could run thru that forward line. Need more power or forget it. None of HFs could be relied on to set up or get 2 point scores IMHO 🙃.Could get Mattie Donnelly a deeper roving role to help there? McElholm has too much class to be sitting at throw in!
