The North looks very generous towards Hearts, Bryson will be creaming himself. As for the isle of mann and north Wales I don't what has happened some super volcano eruption or something

Quote from: SaffronSports on May 15, 2026, 10:22:15 AMTough ould game tomorrow, must win to complete the job. Crowd will no doubt create a brilliant atmosphere and Celtic have shown multiple times this season that they never give up. I'd be delighted to get over the line but once full time goes in the Scottish Cup final next week, Operation 2026/27 has to begin. There's a serious amount of players not fit to wear the jersey so the management needs to be appointed asap and there needs to be a good clear out of those that aren't good enough and those that don't want to be there. I'm sick of watching Celtic scramble around for loans at the end of August. Get the business done early.

There is the small issue about who will be the manager. Will MON want to give it another year or will they be looking for some other up and coming manager with fresh ideas just like Nancy ;D

IF MON wanted another year, I'd absolutely let him stay, especially if things go well tomorrow. The squad is thin and if he can get us back to the top despite the balls up with Nancy, he can do as he wants.

The most important thing for me is some sort of proper scouting network. Signings have been poor of late.

Looks like Bryson's head exploding  on Wednesday night  has caused  tectonic plates to shift

One issue for Celtic tomorrow is they must win, whenever they have control of a game through possession it is usually very passive back and sideways stuff. They don't seem to build pressure on the opposition and kill games off. Even at 3-1 up against Rangers, you weren't certain they could stay ahead. They need the whole midfield to put in a performance and do the dirty work to stop breaks leaving Scales and Trusty exposed. Maeda's form and pressing has really helped in recent weeks and if he keeps it up we should win. It wouldn't surprise me if Forrest started MON seems to trust him and might look to his experience. No matter what it is going to be interesting.

Is the match live on BBC/ITV by any chance?

Tony Bloom probably has big investment ready to go at Hearts as well. He wouldn't have expected a title challenge this season.
So Celtic's board have to be nimble in the market from the word go.

I was relatively relaxed at 3-1 v Rangers however the team looked totally knackered at Motherwell over the last 1/4, more than me. If it's Tierny starting,  Sarachii has to replace him much earlier. The only other viable starting options on the bench who could if necessary last the 90 mins are Reo and McCowan  subs only are  Ox, Forrest and Kelechi.  It's a bare bones team even with the returnees Johnston and Engels. Once more unto the breach!

I see the ref is under police surveillance for his protection. I think some of the so called pundits need to take a look at themselves as their over the top bolloxs such as worst decision ever etc etc is putting this guy's safety in jeapordy

Running on fumes but they also have injuries. Their only recent away wins are against 9 or 10 men.
Kelechi is the best natural goal scorer but he can't press so you lose that part of the game by starting him. Its likely that he'll come on with 20 to go or earlier if Celtic are chasing a goal. Famous last words but i think Celtic will win this by 2 or 3. That would be some achievement given what happened with Nancy
