ONeill

Fairly gone tits-up over the last while.

Still think they haven't played well for a sustained period since November. Or maybe their style of football made it look that way.

Hard to see Arteta having the appetite to go again next season if nothing is won this season.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Don't see why he would leave/where he would go with them being so close on a number of fronts.  Four trophies was being mentioned up until a few weeks ago.  They should get to a champions league final (having been given a most favourable draw along the way) and could win the league yet as City have a few tricky fixtures on the horizon.
In fairness to him he didn't park the bus at the weekend as he has in the past.

Puckoon

I think if Arteta wants to continue on an upward trajectory he needs to get Arsenal over the line for his own credentials. No big deal winning La Liga with the Barcelonas and Madrids of this world where he was being touted a few months back - but until he gets these gobshites on a podium his stock will remain par boiled at best.

Captain Scarlet

Growing up as a United fan in the 90s I naturally disliked Arsenal but I admired their players and style of play.

I think a massive reason that people dislike Arsenal is the social media age and the fact that they have so many tools online. Arsenal Fan TV started it all and it got worse.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

I agree fully . But online fans of most clubs are arseholes and give genuine fans a bad name. The memeification of football has happened and analysis is narrative driven rathen than tactical because of online.

More to do with the energy he has put into his project over the last 4 years, to have no return really. Just think he might be mentally exhausted if they come away with nothing again.

If you're basing your dislike of a club on social media opinions, you should probably rethink your judgment choices.

Media outlets know Arsenal-bashing now sells. And so many fall for it.

I didn't realise until recently this was the case. My eldest fella was telling me they had the worst fans (online it turns out) and everyone wanted to see them lose. I've seen them through the George Graham and Wenger eras and have never hated them. Any fan would have had a begrudging respect for them in the Wenger era when Henry etc. were in their pomp. What has changed?

I would get him to put meat on the bones of that statement. You might get the answer there.

I'm basing it on one of the lads who was texting about the quadruple since January!

Which is the bigger game? Madrid on Tues or the Hammers on Sunday?

Both equally as big.

It's not just Arsenal TV. It's the style of play, it's the borderline cheating at every set piece. It's arteta covering for Partey.
Gabriel has to be the most unlikeable player in the league and Arteta is a complete yap.

Agree, both the same magnitude

The league isn't done til the final whistle on the last day, was a serious comeback from City last night full credit to them

Palace on the final day is no gimmie either, expecting plenty of drama yet

Be nice to brush Athletico aside tomorrow night, but thats v unlikely ... interesting to see if Lewis-Skelly features in CM before the end of the week, very decent Zubamendi style performance at the weekend
