Thought the ref's approach to corners was interesting. Whereas the English refs let anything go really, today's ref kept stopping play if there was any holding, dished out yellows, and then just gave a free-out if it persisted.

Probably a good thing.

The holding in the premiership games is ridiculous. If it was happening out the field instant foul and yellow. Never understood why it was ignored in the penalty box

Team really benefitted from Timber not being in the team. Him continually occupying the 10 area when he's in the team has affected our attackers so much this season. Been driving me mad for months.

Solid performance, didn't get a goal but Gyokeres was very good tonight I thought.

I can't speak to him occupying the 10 area but Eze found a lot more space tonight than in recent games it seemed.

What is the best back 4? Think there's an argument for them all, minus Lewis-Skelly at the moment.

I hope Califiroi is being managed so that when it comes to the crunch in Euro semi he's fit and raring

Lewis-Skelly could unlock the left side if played in left wing, but it'll never happen

If this was 1990/91 Timber would be a forward in the mould of Kevin Campbell, serious unit and a v good all round baller

What he's doing at RB currently is kind of awesome to watch, but he also feels like a luxury and yes definitely at times is in 9 and 10 positions when it should be other players there to finish off moves

Best defensive full backs are Hincapie and Timber. Best attacking are Califori and White.

White, Gabriel, Saliba, Hincapie for me. Timber would play against stronger opposition but limits us when we play teams outside the top 6.
