after winning the recent u20 all irelands we wanted Ruairi Canavan, Michael McGleenan, Michael Rafferty and Shea O'Hare to name a few starting for the seniors instantly. I dont think its as clear cut to say a brilliant u20 player at 19 or 20 years old is ready to start or even play for the senior team. It takes time. Even DC took a few years to get up to speed and show at that level. Our better players against Armagh - Conn & McKernan are both 28/29. They won the All Ireland when they were 23/24 so I do think it takes that 2-3 years of training, learning, and conditioning after u20. McElholm is absolutely unreal, unmarkable at u20 level last year, and even he is finding the going tough this year. But itll come

It takes a lot of care to bring on u20s to Senior properly/fairly to max. benefit for all.   l don't think McElholm has been well served by senior manangement. AI semi instead of 40 minutes of Harte to soften Kerry up McElholm starts.
Then he is held back to cameo sub. Then he starts against Armagh when he should have been a sub for McCurry who has clearly lost his edge after wonderful service. Of course nearly all u20 stars need 3-5 years to find their feet as Seniors so care needed not dumping them in. And bringing on those young fellas against Armagh in last quarter does not look thought out just hopeful desperation.

Need more care and more plans or Tyrone will waste/turn off loads of talent. Management seems unplanned and just reactive in so much and that is sure to put young talent off.

You seem to know exactly what to do and how to handle the young lads better than the current management.

If 2 division 3 teams reach their provincial finals, we won't even be in the Sam Maguire.

This might happen in Munster but won't be close to happening in the other 3 provences

Division 3 Westmeath are 1 game away from the Leinster final, after pulling off a big shock today against Meath.
Tyrone in the Tailteann is well and truly on.

By my reckoning, 3 teams from Div 3 or Div 4 have to make their provincial final to put tyrone into the Tailteann.  Kildare won the Tailteann last year so they qualify also.
It cant happen in Ulster and im going to stay that it wont happen in connacht unless leitrim beat galway.
In Munster, Westmeath have to beat Kildare which is s very real possibility.
There is the possibility of Clare and/or Tipp in Munster beating Cork n Kerry.  Ill say one provides a major shock.
I think we're safe enough yet unless Galway or Kerry slip up.

Donegal have to be huge favourites, had a look at their team and it's stacked with players from last year's team. Thought Kevin Muldoon was a fantastic footballer last year.
