In hiding

Quote from: TyroneTam on April 15, 2026, 07:43:01 PMTen mins into this game and we haven't won a ball in MF and haven't been in the Derry half once
Had noticed this too.
After 10 mins were 03-00 behind and hadn't once got their hands on the ball except to kick away a free.
After 11 and a half minutes they missed a two point free which would have left them level.
It's a mad world Ted

Conor O'Neill having an absolute nightmare tonight

Fair play to you Jerome, that was some result

Jaysus. Seen the score about 20 minutes in and thought that was that. What happened? Who played well?

Derry wasting time with lateral passing. Tyrone started winning ball at midfield and were more direct. Cocannon only stand out in first half but went off injured.

Plenty stepped up in second. With Oneill and Devlin stand outs but it was an all team performance. Thought Sheehy and Colton did well in second half too

DaleCooper

Derry free taker one to keep an eye on.

The two pointer he got before half was excellent only surpassed by a determined Tyrone attack resulting in a sweet 2pt effort before buzzer.

Great under20s back on the road again 2-3 more at least +O'Neill there with great senior possibilites McDermoot esp. Big test up v Donegal but bet Devlin has them back on track for that.

the goal was on

Derrys best 3 players missing but  still should have won the game. Didn't think any player on the field looked like they could play senior any time soon. Tyrone only get stronger now and fancy them to beat donegal who wont have roarty

Conor ONeill for the last 15 mins a level above and think could come into wing forward for the seniors straight away. McCullagh a massive miss for Tyrone

Really? I can't say I noticed him having much impact on the game until the 61st minute. His 2 big plays in injury time were impressive and the winning of the game but I think for his level of experience and ability he should have been doing more throughout the game. Thought his midfield partner Donaghy was quietly effective. Its hard to know what O'Neills best position will be. He done very well at 6 for QUB in the Sigerson and we are crying out for someone there.

What little I've seen of Conor O'Neill he looks top class at a glance

. He has good feet and an eye for goal so as long as he can get forward from there as well. Was at the McKenna cup game v Armagh and his size and coolness on the ball was impressive for a debut

Yeah I like him he has a bit of class about him.

Conor Devlin too has a bit of toughness about him. He'd make a good corner back for seniors like his Da.
