Quote from: JPGJOHNNYG on April 03, 2026, 09:16:19 PMIt's been reported on most sports sites. Munster failing to get too far these days results in fewer and fewer bumper home crowds in the knockout out stages of Europe and the URC means less and less money. There is also the unique situation that they have to service 2 stadia instead of 1 that only adds to costs
Sports sites. The point being not the rugby press corps.

This isn't getting the same urgency the FAI's financial issues got, and the general IRFU financial issues definitely aren't.

I think Munster rugby issues are far deeper than poor crowds.

Ulster struggling to hold onto their own ball and error prone. Leinster pressure is paying off.

Ulster being outmuscled.

Montpellier are 2nd in the Top 14, not a big surprise they were outplayed outmuscled and stuffed

I've a mate at it, great time pity about the result lol
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Have seen a few local lads being interviewed on the Off The Ball insta. Good few mates of the son at it. They've nowhere to sleep so they're going straight through and getting the first flight home!

Not even hanging around for the real business today? Must be pure bred Ulster rugby types alright.

Ulster were always on a hiding to nothing, and even more so once McCloskey and Henderson were ruled out.

Hard to see a Leinster win today. The team is exceptional on paper at least. The Bordeaux team is terrifying though.

Probably be Cullen's last stand.

Another defeat will seal the deal I reckon.

Ulster were depleted. But with the four players they were missing, I still think Montpellier would have beaten them.

It was an entertaining and high scoring game, but never really looked in doubt as to the result.

Today is massive for Leinster.

Tony Baloney

Leinster making too many errors. Looks like they are heading for another final failure.

JollyGreenGiant

Dreadful half from Leinster. Mistakes a plenty, poor decision making, and offering it up to BB (who have been excellent).

JollyGreenGiant

Leinster have had the lion's share of the second half and all they have to show is a 5-3 second half advantage.

Bordeaux will manage this to a close and could break a half century in the process.

Leinster remind me of the Clann na nGael team of the late 80s who lost a number of club  football finals without winning the thing.

How many years will Leo Cullen get. He has the Irish team with a sprinkle of overseas stars and yet comes up short year after year

This one is different. The two crackers against La Rochelle or the Toulouse game are very different to today. They looked woefully unprepared for what is an excellent BB team. Two of the trys were giveaways and stretched out the lead by half time. The Leinster performance was littered with mistakes and poor judgement calls, and against a team superior on paper which you simply cannot do.
