Great Irish performance and another Scotland misfire. Some better officiating in the France match (and a better performance) would have helped but great response since then!

Scotland showed in those last 15 mins against France exactly who they are. Should have had the foot on their throat instead they went to the bar early

Impressive considering that Scotland finally, somewhat put it up to us. For a portion of the match.

Thought both teams looked quite tired and felt Pearce helped the Scots out a couple of times with some really strange decisions but at the end of the day it was same old story. Until Scotland can actually manage to beat us, they can never be considered favourites. Darcy Graham talking about Ireland being there for the taking was a bit daft, no matter how long he spent praising us.

Nice little cameo from Darragh Mur-ray as well. Thought he looked excellent.

Overall a very satisfactory 6N. Massive improvement throughout after the disaster in Paris. Few new players introduced and a few big names missing to come back. We'll still have a very good and competitive, albeit old, squad come WC time.

Was wondering why the commentators were pronouncing his name as Mur-ray given.
Murray is a famed name in Roscommon GAA circles - Jimmy Murray captained their 2 All-Ireland winning teams.

They were talking about it on SC yesterday. Apparently there's a tiny corner of the county where it's pronounced like that. Either that or the entire media has been hoodwinked.

brigids clubman... could have done with Darragh, Niall and Conor this year and/or Jack and Luke Carty. I think niall and darragh played on the connaught minor championship winning teams while unfortunately for conor he suffered too many concussions and had to stop playing

It was flagged well in advance but this colour clash is absolutely mental. The French jersey looks like they've turned the normal one inside out.

It's very confusing having to back England. With the pressure on Borthwick ans senior players they have to get after this too, so it could go all the way!
