Scottish football fans cant even trusted to have a beer in the stadium. The Big games need to be on at 12pm usually to stop them being too hammered.

Quote from: tonto1888 on March 10, 2026, 10:12:13 AMFans have ran onto pitches to celebrate last minute winners etc for many years and nothing like Sunday happened. Celtic fans have done it many times. So have fans from other clubs. What made Sunday different
Can't recall too many games in the Premier League where fans have ran onto the pitch in big derbies in the recent past? If Celtic have done it many times, then perhaps the issue should have been addressed earlier with their fan base? Players coming onto the pitch is wrong and can cause issues, you don't know what type of headbanger is being allowed onto the pitch. (Them not knowing that running onto the pitch isn't appropriate conduct would already raise the question as to how sane the individual is)

Given the obvious hatred between the two teams and their respective fanbases it was obviously going to antagonise Rangers supporters, who's behaviour also left alot to be desired.

Would the Celtic supporters have ran onto the pitch if they beat Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen on penalties, I would highly doubt it.

You wouldn't see that in the Premier League as it's a tourist league with half and half scarves worn by the fans.
As pointed out by others Rangers thought they had scored but turned out to be a hand ball and their fans spilled out in wild celebrations but Celtic fans didn't retaliate. There are too many times to mention where teams have scored last minute winners in Scotland and the fans have spilled out onto the pitch around the goal mouth to celebrate. That includes Hibs, Hearts and others and not just the big two.

Or maybe the crowds know how to behave themselves a little better in 2026?

If fans are continually coming onto the pitch that's a wider issue for the SPL to deal with.  Is there going to any admission that Celtic fans were in the wrong or just continual blaming of Rangers supporters? Fair play to all those Celtic fans for staying in their seats after Rangers scored  ::)

Fans are regularly on the pitch in British football. Do we need to mention plan B in the GAA? Usually the opposition manage to not batter the other teams players and coaches

12pm doesn't stop them, they just start earlier ;)

How come they can police 25,000 fans apiece at Hampden but matches in CP or Ibrox are considered more of a nightmare?

Hampden is in a neutral area and specifically designed to have entirely different routes in and out. Fans don't congregate nearby before and after games, they get in and get out, and that commute sobers lads up.

Our FOD team just recovered two "RFC" footballs from beside our north runway - they landed just after 3.30pm and came in from Glasgow direction ⚽️ ⚽️

We don't have a favourite plane. We love all of our airlines equally. But this plane is really nice

Bodo/Glimt showing how a club 5 times smaller than Celtic should be run.

In a smaller league, like Scotland.

Get Desmond, Nicholson, Hargreaves and Board out now.

Who is going to fall over the line to win this title? Hearts are shitting the bed.

Advantage Celtic. No luck with injuries but both rivals to come at home makes it Celtic's to lose imo.

Celtic have 3 home games outta the 5 at home after the split...They will never allow Celtic v Huns as last game for obvious reasons as Glasgow would be wrecked but i'm hearing rumours that Celtic V Hearts will be last game of the season...What if that was a "Winner takes all" game, that would be unreal. The way things are panning out Celtic will have...
Home - Sevco, Hearts & Falkirk
Away - Motherwell & Hibs
