Let's look at this tournament, lying second against the best team, in France, who arguably are the best team in the world

Bonus point in a real tough game, regardless of how wales have played prior to this game.

But hey f**k it, Ireland are shit! Triple crowns when I grew up were rare but Irish fans/supporters fly by nights are seem to be only happy if winning a world championship

Barret played 10 for NZ plenty. And he's not even the best kicker in his house.

They should train up a big legged forward to do the job. Eales managed it for Australia and he was a giant. Forwards have the biggest muscles in their legs and if they worked on it should be the best kickers.

Well look, they shite the bed at their chance of a world cup, got their few six nations wins so happy enough..

Wildweasel74

They played decent enough against New Zealand who just edged them on the day. NZ would beat SA if they hadnt a man send off. France were bigger favourites at home than Ireland but got edged out also

Their legs are in a bad way after scrummaging, line outs and rucking though. Backs are able to mind themselves.

Understrength team with a bonus point win against a team that defended brilliantly. Solid performance. Would have liked to have seen Timoney put his hand up a bit more. Thought O'Toole was very good in the scrum. Stockdale was poor despite his try and looked genuinely slow and puffy.

You'd have to assume the only change from the England game for the final match against Scotland will be O'Brien in for Lowe.

This type of comment drives me bananas. As if everything was just as simple as training a guy to do it. If all it took was training a guy up to become a world class kicker would you not think you'd try to train the no. 10 to do it? You know, the guy currently doing the kicking and the guy who kicks more than any other player during a game?

Every time a player fucks up its always assumed that he he just goes away and works on it then he'll improve. Rugby teams are, after NFL teams, probably the most overcoached sports teams in the world. Nearly everything in the game is built around repetition and structure. When things go wrong its because you're players aren't as skilled (or more commonly in the game now, aren't as strong) and never will be.

MR has a point though. Rugby fans and journos are schizophrenic. Before the France game we were the best team in the world. After the France game the IRFU needed abolishing because it was the worst Irish team in 25 years. Then we beat England and we are the best team in the world again. Until we lose again and round we go.

It's very, very boring.

This should be a good one.

That's absolutely ludicrous from Dupont to strip Tuipolotu and set up the try.

Scotland look good with a 5 point lead at halftime.

Brilliant game, lonely pinting it in O'Neills in Liverpool with the sex pistols playing in the background lol!
