Is it strange that after the last 2 matches there has been about 4 or 5 posts afterwards regarding the games, but the 3 matches before that it was hard to keep up in here?

Negativity gains more posts than the positivity

It's an Irish thing
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Personally I'm scratching my head as to how it has flipped, what has changed, is it players or management.

We should be beating Waterford next but not getting carried away as while not bottom. 3rd from Bottom is still a job of work to do).

A lot of previous comments came off the back of player departures, very reasonable
for a lot of debate when well liked players step away.

A few things seemed to have changed from the start of the campaign . We are a lot more compact and solid in the middle of our defence, we are kicking the ball more and not running the ball from defence into a very slow ponderous attack, and a few players starting in positions that are more natural too them , and starting ryan and eunan made a big difference.

some new players in has helped, forward players starting to gel, others players starting in proper positions and the spine working with each other.

Antrim have the players to be getting out of Div.4 but have either malfunctioned or underestimated the opposition?
The stepping away of key players was a shock and concern as is double jobbing manager. These remain valid concerns.

I have heard that players have come together to get things sorted. They have turned it around and should now finish on 8pts. It's unlikely to be enough for promotion but teams are all beating eachother so you'd never know. Well done to the players again as they've shown leadership during a tough time. Fair play!

100% CK...great post.

Antrim supporters have got used to not setting their heights too high...but we should never ever accept what was put before us in the Carlow or Longford games in PG1. That wasnt acceptable at all, neither was the prospect of us being rock bottom of the division on a horrendous negative points differential.

Once we stop highlighting that we might as well forget about it altogether.

Genuine congrats to all involved in turning things around and lets start pushing on now and create a few memorable talking points in the next 3 or 4 months.

Did Cargin get put out of the O'Cahan cup by Lisburn?

Yes I was at the game , was merely a cargin 3rd/4th string I heard the senior team was playing Moortown in a friendly

Probably find that more beneficial than playing a cup game against a team they would hammer

Thought as much though it will still do the new Lisburn management and team the world of good.

belfastsaff

big appointment for Lisburn getting kevin murray in. a club going places

I think Lisburn could struggle this season. Eoin Dixon moving to Eire Og a huge loss in regard of scoring power, their keeper away as well i believe. Will Oisin Gorman be back this season? He is a top quality player but is at uni in England i think and went off to the states last summer.
