Los Dodgers point was that 3 of those goals have come from high ball/goalkeeping errors. I imagine he meant our goal threat when putting the ball through the hands. And his point is valid.

But I also don't think it's critical. If you scored 2 goals in a game that would would be considered pretty good. But the goal conversion rate isn't great in most games, with 2-3 goal attempts normally delivering one goal. So, if the points were just taken instead it would pretty much balance out.

I think a 2-pointer threat is much more valuable with the new rules than incisive goal threat. A really good 2-point threat from a couple of players could easily produce 3-5 on a decent weather day. That would be a much better shot/score likelihood than trying to get deep into the opponent's box for a goal attempt. You can't really practice scoring goals but you can practice taking 2-pointers

Anyone see the lovely letter being pushed through letter boxes in Clough?

Hopefully none of the residents get hurt by any nationalist symbols.

Does Alan Lewis independent advisory setup the "swift evection by force"?

What would be the nearest GAA club to Clough and how far would it be away?

It must be fake.....not much there, by way of spelling mistakes, or grammatical errors. It's definitely not up to the usual brain dead PUL standards.

Clough is in the parish of Dundrum and Tyrella. So nearest club is Dundrum GAC. It would be two miles away.

Was in the Spar in Clough last night before I seen that and every other person in GAA gear was funny thinking back.

Dundrum then Loughinisland be the closest club to Clough. 2 miles for Dundrum then 3/4 for Island

Down's style of play is conducive to goal opportunities

All the more disappointing given the tragedies in Loughinisland in 1994 that there are still people this way inclined in that area.

Disgusting and pathetic letter that, wait til the locals find out that a few miles out the road our 'centre of excellence' is to be built!

To be fair, and this is a rare instance I might defend someone from the DUP, the councillor came out and condemned the letter and said it was nothing to do with him and he does not agree with what was written.

Yeah for sure, and in first half Wexford showed the value of the 2 points, it kept them in touch.

I think with Havern, Murdock & Guinness we have players who can kick them, Danny Magill will add to that when back. I do feel we are bound to have a better place kicker than Burns to be honest.

The point about goals/FF line threat is against better teams Daniel & Ohdran aren't simply gonna be able to hold the  around the 45 until they are ready then then beat their man and score, Donegal will be wise to this and shut them down...you need to have an option for an earlier ball into the FF line and a quicker transition. We are great at running the ball with the hands but to beat the D1 teams we need an alternative game plan too which o haven't really seen yet this season.

Looking forward to tomorrow night and hopefully sealing promotion with 2 games to go.
Fermanagh caused us a lot of problems in the championship so it wont be easy.
Hopefully get to give some fringe players a chance in last 2 games and buuld for the league final and the Donegal game.
