The McKenna Cup is finished lad!
In fairness I think they could give the Tailteann Cup a good rattle

Don't know how you can justify Ben Cullen of all men to retain his place.

Was on about Tailteann

Team selection needs a big overhaul at the minute. Lot of players nailed on during league and not justifying that status.

Offaly - assuming injuries to Joey Clarke and Joe Oguz and fitness of Canavan and Devlin
1. Oisin O'Kane
2. Aidan Clarke
3. Peter Teague
4. Niall Devlin

Where are the big 2 point shooters that are so badly required?

Quote from: cjx on February 22, 2026, 10:31:00 PMInteresting so little mention that Morgan is primarily responsible for 3goals and a couple of points Tyrone gave away in the last 3 games. That must have had a very unsettling effect over and above that it put Tyrone behind in each game when it happened. Add that to the bizarre selections by management and the repeated failures to convert 2 point chances compared to top class teams explains most of the current shambles l think.

Morgan really has to be given a game off at this stage

He needs a bit of time off to do another few interviews.

What a load off bullshit regarding sacking  MOR,couldnt wait to get him in and now looking shot off him, jesus wept🙈

Correct. A load of complete nonsense. End of the season MOR will be evaluated

Id play the same 15 as far as possible again v Offaly. Should get a reaction and a good win in Dungannon. That leaves us on 5 pts. Cavan would need to hit 6 pts to go above us, not going to happen. Relegation talk is silly

Looking forwards to the championship though, we do need to take some drastic action

Id be on the phone to Clonoe's Mickey O'Neill. Morgan has been one disaster-class after another, and there is no one on the current panel ready to step in or even put his position under threat.

Quote from: RedHand88 on February 22, 2026, 07:37:04 PMIs there anything in the fact that he's let one of our star forwards go travelling for a month at a crucial time of the season? Really don't understand this at all.
This shows exactly how crazy we are.
He has let !!!
Darragh has some cheek living a life. I'd love to get a look at that contract he has signed with Tyrone GAA
God forbid an amateur athlete living his own life...
Grow up. More to life than this
If we can't stay up in division 2 because one player that has had very little time away in the last few years wants to go travelling there's bigger issues to worry about

Do you keep him forever rather than admitting it hasn't worked out. We are worse now than when he started.

We are struggling against division 2 opposition. We will get destroyed by Armagh

Jordan, McCurry, Conor ONeill, Ronan Cassidy, Cullen, McKernan, McGarrity all no problem kicking 2 pointers if they are worked. The forward play is poor at the moment

Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story. While yesterday was dire it was a league game in February. This is not the Premiership where a manager gets sacked after a few games.
In 2024 we got beat by Donegal by 7 points in Ballyboffey in the championship and exited to Roscommon at home.
Last year we beat Donegal away in the championship and reached the All Ireland semi-final. So we are not in a worse position than then...  championship is the game. If that goes totally pear shaped then by all means consider new management.
Talk of Tailteann Cup is hysterical nonsense by the way...

Before orourke started we were in Division 1, we are now 5th in Division 2. 4 games in and instead of thinking about promotion we are hoping to beat offaly to avoid finishing in bottom 3 of division 2.

We have no set style of play, we have missed easy scores in every game, we are have conceded a goal in every game so far. I would definitely say we are worse off.

If the season ended yesterday you'd be right but it's all about the championship baby 8)
Do you remember who won the league last year? Or the year before?...
