Na Glinntí Glasa

Liam is a good coach from anyone ive spoken too. His work with other teams in Loughgiel has always been good and hes well liked in that sense.

His social media posts are his personal opinion and wont always be the flavor to all but thats his right to do that.

His opinion on hurling is pretty relevant considering how good a player he was. he had his faults off the field but sure didnt we all? Only difference is that others likes to try and bring him down.

Just watched the clip on Smaller Fish and it's hard to argue that if you play two banks of 4 across your half back line and midfield and two up top then you really are trying to mitigate a big defeat, but defeat it will be.

Not sure of his comment of Antrim having the players though!

We have the players to be more competitive than we were against Kildare though sometimes I think we can be an arrogant bunch and think we are better than counties like Kildare when we have nothing to say that we are at all...

Davy always sets up like that regardless of who he manages or usually the players he has.

We played the extra midfielder when we went up to div 1 as a club to get settled in. Take less of the big losses and gain confidence, against teams of a similar level or just above we played 15 on 15 ..

Playing a sweeper or two sweepers reduces the chance of winning the game, I understand against teams like Clare yes but against the teams at your level or below is not required in my view

That might work in football and lower level hurling.

But at inter-county, it's silly. E.g. V Clare, Diarmuid Ryan, TK and Ryan Tylor shoot the lights out from half-back.

I'd heard there was high hopes for the UU team in the Ryan Cup today.  Just watched it back on utube.  Grim

Fitzgibbon being cut to 8 teams now. Doubt we'll ever see UU or QUB in it ever again.

UL are some outfit - in reality a top inter-county team. I think it's a great competition. The amount of young lads who play Fitzgibbon and go on o play regularly inter-county hurling is huge. A great pathway.

I hope it can find a proper space in the calendar - that's why it's going down to 8 teams. Cutting time back. I hope it doesn't go he way of 'The Railway Cup'. I think it should have stayed.

Was watching some of it last night and did mention to her indoors that not going to college deprived me of that other team! Though she said due to my intelligence it was never happening 😂, well she didn't put it as nice as that
