Poorest crowd I have seen in Corrigan in quite a while I have to say
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Na Glinntí Glasa

Much better yesterday all over the pitch and its good to get a win under the belt.

Keelan Molloy was a big miss this past few games and had a fine game in midfield. The players it seems have rallied behind each other and its good to see.

On another note the pitches are a mare at the moment with the weather and constant rain and Corrigan was laid bare for that fact. You can see why the pitches are remaining closed for clubs with the condition they would be left in after a game.

I assume Dunloy aren't keen on hosting the Dublin game ?

The pitch was in no shape to take a game at all. The amount of rain has just left it saturated and it never gets a chance to dry out.

Our pitches are closed from Jan-Feb as a rule for the club trainings so its not unusual for no one to be on the grass yet.

I dont see much hope for it for the next game unless it stops raining for a while.

Dublin game possibly to Cushendall again then? Or Ballycastle?

Na Glinntí Glasa

I dont think either is an option.

Last id heard was Cushendall's ground staff said not a chance again as the pitch was left in bad shape after the Clare game. Ballycastle pitch is closed and they said no.

They even said no to hosting Cross & Passions All Ireland semi final game.

Saffrongael

Think Corrigan is the only option as the pitch is getting relaid anyway

Wonder why Dunloy haven't put down a prunty pitch so they had a surface they could play 12 months of the year. Taking into ma account their facilities its seems a good question?

Will that put him out for the Mc Donagh campaign also?

Another chastening day, like a training session for Dublin

FirstToTheBall

Same old tactics from davy fitz, lump the ball into one forward surrounded by 3/4 defenders.

The amount of times we run into trouble or overplay and overcomplicate things would drive ya insane.

BrendanAntrim

To be fair I don't think it was the same sparse attacker numbers as previous games. We usually did have at least a couple of forwards inside toddy. Ironically the Antrim score of the day came from Ruairi Donaghy winning his own ball and intelligently flicking home.

He looks to be a strong addition to the team this year.

Dublin are currently a level - or 2 - above us atm.
