They'd have plenty of players from Belfast.

Freshers A final TUS Midlands v DCU on at 7:45pm

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Not a dig whatsoever as it absolutely goes on at other universities but would JP McManus have any influence on University of Limerick's upturn on the sporting field?

I would expect their hurlers to start winning Fitzgibbon's as the raw materials are there but football is an interesting one. I know they would have been getting west Kerry players for a long time but Mayo lads driving past Galway for university is surely a new phenomenon

Has JP given much in the way of funds to UL? I haven't heard of any significant donations from him. Altough I have heard stories of him being discreet with some of his other donations. The UL squad didn't exactly strike me as a squad stuffed with recruited players like you used to see back in the day. Overall I think the Sigerson is a lot more honest these days since they tightened up the rules on eligibility. Since I posed the question about the Mayo lads in UL, I was thinking was the Galway Limerick motorway a factor in making UL far more accessable to Mayo lads compared to the roads that were there years back.
