Line ups for tonights final

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Rossfan

Best of luck to Cillian Campbell.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

twohands!!!

Seems like an unusually high number of Mayo lads on the UL squad. Anyone any idea why?

Don't know why and I think I counted 9 Mayo lads on the Mary Immaculate College, Limerick team in this afternoon's Trench Cup final

No harm for Mayo to see lads being involved like this.

UL will be disgusted to be going in level - had far more of the general play for most of the game - mainly due to being on top at midfield. If their shooting was more accurate they easily could have had an 8 point gap.

Very fortunate goal for UCC - my first impression was square ball but clearly wasn't - overall just an awful goal for a defence to concede.

Fair few decent footballers on both sides - all to play for.

Congrats to Connor Leonard playing for Trinity who we had over in Barcelona in 2024 and was a huge part of our team. Super footballer.

Congrats to UL deserved winners. FT UCC 1-11 UL 0-17

Yeah better team but struggled to show it on the scoreboard.
A minor miracle for UCC that it was only 3 points, especially given how much they were cleaned at midfield.
First Sigerson for UL.

Unfortunately no, there were 2 Down lads starting I think one who had played at Queens so presumably post grad; Mary I seem to have a fair Mayo contingent
