Quote from: ONeill on February 07, 2026, 11:01:47 PMIt's a pity we don't have a Conor Glass. Someone with his athleticism and brain to grab a game by the scruff around the middle. I thought he was majestic against us.

Derry struggle in midfield at times for kick outs and they dominated us. Didn't come as surprise as largely cleaned out v Kildare.

Need an improvement or will be no wins from 3

We did many years ago
His name was Sean Cavanagh

Quote from: Goals_Will_Come on February 05, 2026, 10:36:32 AMAt the end of the day, it is two league games in January. Last 20 years has seen these poor league showings and for the vast majority good summers followed. Not something to be writing seasons off like some are here.

If we line up:
1. Niall Morgan
2. Joey Clarke/Aidan Clarke/Cormac Quinn
3. Paudie Hamspey
4. Niall Devlin
5. Michael McKernan
6. Rory Brennan/Peter Teague
7. Kieran McGeary/Seanie O'Donnell
8. Brian Kennedy
9. Conn Kilpatrick
10. Ciaran Daly
11. Eoin McElholm/Ruairi Canavan
12. Conor O'Neill
13. Darren McCurry
14. Darragh Canavan
15. Mattie Donnelly/Ethan Jordan/Ruairi Canavan/Eoin McElholm

We would all be confident in beating Armagh, Donegal, Derry/Monaghan in Ulster and the same be said if we came up against Dublin, Galway, Mayo. Kerry probably the outlier but we weren't that far off last year, closer than anyone else.

Where is Seanie O'Donnell? Injured? Ronan Cassidy an out and out forward and showed that for queens.

James Mulgrew looks a great prospect in the middle of the field.

Agreed. Got it wrong about him last year. He's prone to a mistake or 2 a game but who isn't especially at that age.

Shame about McGeary too. Thought he could've been on the U20s last year but it is what it is I suppose

What's the story with McGeary? Heard them mention on commentary about Armagh but I'm nearly sure he's played Tyrone minors.

Heard it a while back he's going to play for Armagh from this year on. Didn't believe it but seems like it's true. He would've started U20s this year 100%

McGeary away to Armagh because he wasn't called up to the Tyrone u20 team. Beyond me how he didn't get the call up

very short-sighted from the Tyrone U-20 management.

Speaking of U20s, any word on the panel?

Tyrone Gaa

Heard McGeary was rejected by Tyrone @ u20 and Armagh swooped in and invited them into their panel. On today's viewing it looks a major error.

Don't actually know if it's true or how that's even possible but I had heard it said.

He was excellent for the academy today.

It would be strange if a player who didnt get a call up for his county decided to go to a rivals especially since hes so young and there would be other chances for a call up in future.

Looks a good player but should have another 2 years at u20? Not a great look if moving due to non selection for u20 at 17/18.

He would have this year and next year at U-20.

No doubt will kick the winner v Tyrone at some point in the future.

error_name_not_found

Academy Number 13, McMurray dropped from Tyrone U20 this year too..

They must have some panel, if both them men are dropped.
