Don't look like it. This second half has been a shitshow since McAteers point.

We can't hold onto our own ball from the kickout which is not a new issue you'd think we'd have some set plays down at this stage.

Results

Donegal 1-18 Derry 1-16
Monaghan 1-15 Tyrone 2-10
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Tyrone heads get some food for thought tonight.

Very fringe Tyrone team out. Changes at half time would suggest Tyrone were very much in experimental mode rather than overly prioritizing a win and progress to a final.

Monaghan very experimental team too tbh - which is badly needed to try new players, as we're down almost a full team between the Scotstown lads and other injuries/absentees.

Win wasn't the main focus I wouldn't say, but still no harm in getting it and having another run out for alot of the new lads

Hopefully those boys all take a nice extended break until after we play :D

I think you lads are safe enough for that game! Can't see us getting too many back for the first couple games of the league at least

We're down close to 20 on the 2024 squad believe it or not. Hope the young bucks can step up.

McGuinness as ever has Donegal flying fit. Plenty of pace in a lot of those new faces for Monaghan.
Donegal 1-7 Monaghan 0-6 at the break.

Routine stuff for Donegal, will Jim McGuinness aim to Division 1 title after this?
