The Fermanagh v Cavan game is null and void and no team is awarded the points.

The Armagh v Down game is awarded to Down.

Doubt we will lose much sleep over it

integrity of the pre season competitions not good on it's return year.

A coin toss to find out who won between Longford,Westmeath. The likes of Kerry,Galway fielding development panels and now this with the McKenna Cup.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I think the McKenna cup was his sunset, not the dawn.

Yeah one from Belleek, first cousin of the Cross boys, midfielder, would be around 27 but only really broke through last year. Other fella is from Clann Na Gael, would be around 20? Does half forward for them I think.

It would be helpful if these lads had a middle initial or something, to help keep track.
Who know's. Couldn't see him busting his hole in preseason with the aim of only playing McKenna cup. Actually one of our better man to man defenders when he's fit and not fouling which is something we badly need.

I agree. Same age as Grugan and Murnin
Only a cub yet so :D

I want my money back. No I didn't actually attend the match but it is still terribly upsetting.

Was those McKenna Cup games on the same night as Sigerson cup games, and do Sigerson teams get first pick before the county?

Your not supposed to pick the Uni men if they on the Uni panel. Was always respected though managers are going the same way as M Harte. He always took the Uni men, then didnt play half them.

When Donegal played an ineligible player against Armagh two years ago they lost the points but Armagh didn't get them because they didn't lodge a protest.

Does the fact Down got the points mean the rules have changed about requiring protests or did Down protest?

Must just be a conspiracy against Armagh.

Remember when Laois  couldn't count , and instead of being thrown out  , they got a rematch. And in their own pitch too!

First team ever to lose 3 championship matches in the one year. Great record.

Yeah, he made a mess of the whole thing.

Great opportunity for uni's to play competitive games before Sigerson Cup but Harte messed it up. Plus I think it was 3 groups of 4 or something, which worked well.

But Harte was too greedy and wanted every uni player...as if he couldn't getanother 5 good players in Tyrone club football and give them a chance.

Yes 3 groups of 4, basically as it is now with uni team in each of the groups
