Imagine if we'd signed Guehi instead of standing about all summer playing brinkmanship with Palace

Tried to be too clever in the summer over Guehi and it backfired. If Liverpool were not totally invested in getting Guehi then why not look at another option.  Hope they've someone else lined up in January but won't hold my breath.

Guehi was part of the Crystal Palace defence that lost to mighty Macclesfield recently. Yet not signing him is to blame for drawing and scoring just once at home to Burnley?

Wasn't for it earlier in the season especially after last season, but little has changed in months.

It's getting to the stage where the question has to be asked now if he can turn this around. It's 11 in a row or something without defeat (plenty of draws in there TBF)and somehow they are still 4th but that's mainly down to the teams around us being equally shite.

With Alonso being free I just wonder if maybe if they would act now,Alonso was the first choice wasn't he?

Watched the 2nd half.. For me they look a team going through the motions. 7 mins of injury time, half of it wasted with Robertson creeping up the line to take a throw in 10 metres from where the ball went out, was always being called back. Chiesa needlessly body checking inside the opp box, and Mac Allister blasting a mile wide and over with his left... That's not a driven / focused team imo

He was probably safe before last week as there wasn't really a viable replacement, that's not the case anymore
