Big strange that 1/4 game is only one on at 4:30pm.

I presume Convoy has lights.  Maybe Jim's men training at 7:30pm.

Was thinking the same myself, why could it not be in the morning or early afternoon. 

If the Magherafelt game is at 4.30pm why not push it back to later in the evening to allow the standard 9-5 person be able to attend. Macrory cup is a great competition but the scheduling of fixtures at times could definitely be better.

I think its a home venue for the quarter finals, (for the group winners or those who beat the group winners in the last 16 round)

To the best of my knowledge, schools football doesn't have "fixture makers" doing whatever they want.

The schools agree a date that suits, then the team allocated at home looks for a venue on that date.

Hence why fixture lists can seem haphazard from time to time.

ah yeah..had lads involved over the years..this craic of a message coming through at night that's there's a game the next morning..esp at the younger age groups..all very last minute dependent on pitches
